Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I loved the Hotel Patios de San Telmo. A Boutique Hotel in one of the trendy areas of the Argentine Capital. Old meets new, nice, spacious and bright rooms with all required amenities. Little restaurant with simple breakfast service. The City Centre can be reached on foot, so can the Plaza Dorrego with its Milonga Shows and many shops and restaurants. I stayed at this hotel twice over recent years and was not disappointed. Last stay was in July 2018

Stayed in July 2019. A final night or two in this lively district, full of bars and restaurants. Quirky rooms off a central open courtyard - this was winter so it was too chilly to sit out, but I can imagine it just be perfect for cooling off after a hot day. An attractive cafe at the front serves breakfast.

We were happy with our hotel and room which was spacious with a bath. Check in person was helpful with good English. Around a 10 minute walk to san telmo markets. A few restaurants and cafes were in a 5 to 10 minute radius of the hotel. Unfortunately the Deli cafe wasn't open for lunch when we were there, so we had to find food in the 35 degree heat.

Room Tip: The room with the bath (6?) was very spacious. It also had a small juliet balcony to the street.

The staff is very helpfull, the beds are great and the atmosphere in the whole hotel is just great. Spaceous rooms, spaceous hallways and a great feeling of luxury at an affordable price. Great showers too and it was nice that you can leave the door open if you have a room at a patio. Some fresh air is always good.

The hotel is situated in a great district. We could walk to many sites. Good restaurants around. Nice and confortable rooms. A good breakfeast. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were there twice in a month. The first time the first days of march when life was as usual and the 18 and 19 of march when all our lives were shaken. We hope to come back when everything will be normal again. Thanks to this great staff.

Excellently located mansion in the middle of San Telmo within walking distance to the Sunday market and other sight seeing activities. The old mansion has been superbly renovated and even has a pool on the roof for the hot Buenos Aires summer days!

Had a nice room with window on a calm courtyard, pretty that there is a 24 hours reception when you come home late in the night. Good breakfast, until 10 30 hrs, could be until 11.00 in my opinion, because nightlife (like tango) starts late in the night.

This hotel was perfect for visiting the Sunday Market. The front desk staff were excellent and recommended a super restaurant nearby. Check in and out were very smooth. The room was very big with comfortable bed and good air conditioning.
