Highly recommend Petit Hotel el Vitraux! The place is conveniently located with walking distance to restaurants, the port, parks and much more. Elena is a fantastic host. She is a well-informed and culturally aware conversationalist. Elena is also super knowledgeable about things to do and places to dine in BA. Her recommendations certainly enriched our experiences in BA. What's more! Her garden is frequented by hummingbirds and two lovely cats add much characters to the place. If you are not a cat person, not to worry. The cats dont bother you and stay away from your room. I am not much of a cat person, but love Elena's cats. There is so much more to be said about this place. In short, I'd stay here again if I am ever in Buenos Aires again. Big thanks to Elena and her cats!

After a long flight from India to Argentina, and arriving at Buenos Aires late in the night, I couldn’t have asked for a better welcome than the one by Elena of Petit El Vitraux. She had proactively started communicating with me weeks before my scheduled trip, passing on every small bit of information that may be required for my trip. Tired after a long journey, her infectious energy rubbed off on me and we stayed up late in the night chatting after I checked in. Didn’t seem that we had just met then, Elena made me feel comfortable from the start. Her home and the rooms have a warm feel and are well furnished. The dinning room and open patio was a place to make new friends with the other guests over good breakfast and lovely coffee. To the extent that instead of rushing out early in the morning to tick off the sightseeing checklist, we sat around and spend time catching up with each other. Bathroom/toilet was not attached to the room but common to all, however was extremely clean and hygienic and there was never a rush for the same. The location was also very convenient. Elena walked with me to the ATMs and bus stop to show me around and was always ready to discuss and suggest the best things I could do in Buenos Aires based on my preferences. If I go back to Buenos Aires, Petit El Vitraux is where I d definitely stay again

Warm, funny, charming, gracious, helpful and genuine: it is rare that a B and B host makes you feel right at home, or as if you're staying with a good friend who makes you feel like Buenos Aires is yours. The rooms are high-ceilinged and quite spacious, and the beds you sink right into for a pleasant night's sleep. All in all, we love BA for its wonderful museums, the violent protests in the city centre during the time we were there (yep), and this unforgettable superlative stay at Elena's. Love, Sean and Bern.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. I have just been back for my third stay and am already looking forward to my next stay at the end of October It is a lovely homely place and Elena is so warm and welcoming. She's also so helpful, she gave us loads of good tips for Buenos Aires and helped us with planning other parts of our trip. She reserved tables for us, booked taxis, helped us with public transport and much more. I loved the way that she talked about the Argentine way of life and always had lots of different things for us to try over breakfast. The location is great, we literally walked everywhere apart from to La Boca or Palermo. Walking back through the neighbourhood after dark was also no problem

Good day, really the most perfect place for singles, couples or families to stay very safe including your belongings. Because you will feel like stay at home, very accessible to the metro, bus and other transportations. Most of the city tourist destinations is in walkable range. The restaurants, groceries, bars, café etc. is nearby. The charming, crystal heart host Ms. Elena is always helping a lot regarding Buenos Aires and Argentina information. The hotel price is very reasonable compare to other typical city hotels. Once you been experienced at Petit Hotel El Vitraux (Calle Estados Unidos 1383 | Capital Federal, Buenos Aires C1101ABA, Argentina) I hope you should never prefer other hotels in BA.

We had such an incredible time stay here that we extended and also returned for a second time. The house is stunning, all three bedrooms are beautiful with so much attention to detail. The location is excellent, close to lovely St Telmo and the public transport is so easy to use we visited many other neighbourhoods. The host Elena is the most amazing kind, bubbly person you could meet. Her enthusiastic attitude to life and her infectious smile made our stay so memorable. We definitely felt like friends when we finally dragged ourselves away. Everything was perfect from start to finish and I know other people will feel the same. You must stay at this beautiful place.

I don't quite have enough words to describe our amazing stay here. We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. We loved it that much we extended our stay and returned a second time. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast is great, lots of choices of breads and jams. All bought from the bakery fresh each morning. Served with a smile and with great coffee. The best part of the stay was Elena. She is so helpful and friendly. She made our stay perfect and even after 10days we were not ready to leave. We gained a new friend in Elena and we are sure to return to Buenos Aires to stay at your lovely home again. Thank you Elena.

Without doubt the most amazing place anybody could wish to stay. It's not just because of the house; which is gorgeous, or the location; which is fantastic, next to the the great San Telmo district (full of great bars and restaurants) and walking distance to most other places, it is all because of the host, Elena. Elena is without doubt the most amazing host, and friend, you could ever ask for. Nothing is too much trouble, she goes way above and beyond any other accommodation and makes you laugh constantly along the way. The highest praise you could give to an accommodation is that you just wish to stay longer, and that we certainly did. Returning again after the first time and being almost inconsolably sad when we finally had to leave again. This place, or more importantly, Elena, is a memory we will keep forever, and we're already thinking about how we can go back there as soon as possible. Finally, if you read this, and then book somewhere else, you've been warned now, you'll have made a mistake. See you soon Elena.

Sometimes, but really sometimes, it happens: you go abroad, you pick a place to stay and when you arrive there, it feels like arriving in a new home. The Petit Hotel El Vitraux in Buenos Aires is such a place. The hotel itself is gorgeous, fantastic location, great atmosphere but on top of that there is Elena: she is not only a wonderful host, but also a special person. We have been allover the world but never experienced such delightful home away from home feeling.
