The entire staff performed below our expectations. There was a leak in our room and bad blackout (in the two rooms we inhabit, they offered us an upgrade after our 2nd complain). The hotel is beautiful, good bed and regular breakfast. It looks like it does not have management present. The front desk staff was not able to help and...

Good area for restaurants and access to city centre, opera house. One of the best areas in town for walking, window shopping. Ask for high floors, some street noise if facing front of the building Recommend for a short stay

Simply the best hotel in Buenos Aires. Rooms are beautiful with a modern and elegant design. Staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Location is perfect in the middle of Recoleta. Breakfast buffet is great with a huge variety of food and fresh fruits. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting BA.

We stayed here for 2 nights in March 2017. The neighborhood is great - easy to walk around and completely safe anytime of day or night. Good restaurants within walking distance. Cemetery is about 2 blocks away. Location was quiet with little street noise and there is a grocery store a half a block away, Taxis readily available to go...

This hotel was a great find. Small but with the services of a larger hotel. The room we were given was an upgrade to a fantastic suite with a steam shower as well as the fabulous wooden bath. A pointer, the bath would not be appropriate for plus-size travellers as it is quite narrow. The bed was one of the...

I went to Buenos Aires and stayed at the Mio hotel for a week. It is in a great location, in the center of Recoleta (just a few steps from the cemetery). Our room had a gorgeous wooden bathtub and a lovely shower. From our balcony we had a direct view over the cemetery. The restaurant offers complimentary breakfast with...

Very much enjoyed this hotel. Wonderful, walkable location. The staff at this hotel was extra friendly and the large rooms were comfortable and HUGE. From the statement bathtubs to the separate sitting area, this hotel room made my stay enjoyable.

Pros: the hotel stay in a nice neighborhood and it is well decorated Cons: their debt/credit card machine did not accept my debt card (which I used all over the city) so I had to withdrawl all the money which made exceed the diary limit in my both cards. On balcony there were a lot of spiderwebs Their sound system...

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
