This hotel was great! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They helped me to book a restaurant for my wife's birthday and provided me with stationary to write her a birthday card to accompany her champagne. I highly recommend this hotel.
Small boutique hotel in the heart of Recoleta steps from the famous square. Features include woodwork doors, sinks and spectacular bathtubs carved out of a single tree trunk. Careful thought put into scenting rooms, sheets, towels, and all the public areas of the hotel. It’s a bit noisy at night, whether it’s traffic or neighbors chatting, it is a residential and high-end commercial neighborhood after all. The front desk staff was very accommodating, I witnessed the same service rendered to me unto others, nice to see that little bit of effort at work. The in-house restaurant is very good, I repeated a ceasar salad -it’s really good- and their breakfast service is excellent in its variety and quality. For a business weekend trip to Buenos Aires it filled and surpassed expectations. Kudos to management and staff.…
We had a great experience at this hotel. The room was great; the staff very helpful and accomodating. We had a delay in arrival (our first flight cancelled dur to mechanical problems) but the staff helped re-arrange the airport transfer.
My wife and I stayed here for three nights on our anniversary! It was amazing and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Check in was a breeze, and the room was wonderful. The hotel is centrally located in shopping and dining around Recoleta, and we walked most places. It is two blocks from the Recoleta Cemetery where Eva Paron is buried.
We just returned from an amazing trip to Buenos Aires. This was our first trip to Argentina as well as South America. What made our trip so amazing was our hotel. Mio Hotel is a small boutique hotel located in the heart of Recoleta. The location was perfect, surrounded by upscale shops. cafes, coffee shops and amazing restaurants. In addition, the staff at the hotel was GREAT!. Not only did they provide us with top notch service, their recommendations were spot on! They got us into restaurants that normally would take a month to get a table. We do not speak any Spanish and given all of the Covid requirements, Yenny from the front desk made all of our arrangements and also served as an interpreter. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel and the entire staff. The daily breakfast (which was included) had great cheeses, meats, eggs, fresh bread, sweets, bacon, ham, olives, fresh juices/coffee and beverages. I would highly recommend this Hotel Mio!…
We loved Buenos Aires as a whole and this hotel was a diamond find Great value for such a perfect location The staff could not have done more to help us make the best of our stay. We stayed here on two occasions- at the beginning and end of our trip and we were upgraded both times
We stayed three nights, as we explored BA before starting a cruise. We booked a deluxe double room and were given one that faced the main street. The room was very comfortable, we enjoyed using the wooden bath tub. Even though it faced the street there was no noticeable traffic noise at night. We also enjoyed the restaurant located in the basement. The breakfast buffet was good but sometimes very busy where everyone seemed to come at the same time. The staff worked hard to keep up but still some of the buffet items were not refilled for new arrivals. Eggs are cooked to order which is a good way to get what you want. The location of the hotel is excellent. We walked to the outstanding weekend craft fair in the French Plaza just two blocks from the hotel and we enjoyed people watching from one of the cafes at the plaza. we also walked to the cemetery and the fine arts museum, all easy distances. We will stay there again if we revisit BA.…
Outstanding Reception and Concierge service from well informed, kind staff with superb English. Very helpful staff at breakfast to cater for gluten-free requirements. I would not hesitate to return to Mio Buenos Aires on my next visit to Argentina.
Mii Buenos Aires is a wonderful boutique hotel in a perfect location that was walking distance away from many cites. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast buffet was very good. Because of limited time, we did not get to sample the restaurant which is reported to be wonderful.
We were due to stay in this hotel for 5 nights. One as an overnight before an early morning flight to Iguazu. So pleased we did as it gave us the opportunity to change to another hotel before returning to Buenos aires. Extremely well located in Recoleta area we had high hopes of our stay. The room appeared not to have been cleaned very well there were large stains on two of the walls, dust on the windows and blinds, stains on the headboard and bed runner. Half eaten pack of sweets from the mini bar. I can only assume it was thought guests staying briefly wouldn't care. After a mediocre breakfast we were ready to leave. Spoke to the front desk who basically didn't seem to care not even sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. Therefore changed hotels for our return a review of which is available on TripAdvisor. This is the worst review I have given any hotel.…
