Booked this due to me hearing about it for the last 2 years. Firstly 60 dollars for a private room is not backpacker friendly. Got it because I was sick on the first night. Beds are changed everyday which is nice. Party was ok, not as good as i thought it would be. No where near Loki or wild rover....

My friend and I stayed here twice. We picked this due to recommendations and good reviews. We weren't disappointed as such but I do think it's hyped up a tiny bit. It's clean, good atmosphere at night, they organise events every night of the week. Nice chill area and roof terrace. Toilets are clean. Good showers. The kitchen is a...

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst travelling and stayed in an 8 bed mixed dorm with a private bathroom. The room was quite cramp but clean, although we had to wait a few hours after we arrived to be given bedding. The shower was decent. Events go on every night so if your up for socialising and going out...

My sister and I stayed here the last three nights of our trip and it was the best choice we've ever made. We wanted to end our vacation with a bang, and boy did we. The staff were hilarious/fun/helpful and provided us with plenty of activities (we did a tour of La Boca that I highly recommend) and parties every...

Very well located, close to bus stops, shops and everything you need. The staff is kind and treats you by the name. They offer tours, tips and other services at the front desk. The dormitory is good enough. There are parties almos every night, which can be fun for those who like it. If you dont you have to deal with...

We stayed at Milhouse for a couple of days and wanted to meet new people and have som fun. This place delivered. Mostly young people stays there and there's a lot of partying going on. We met quite a few nice people and had a great time in Buenos Aires. Only complain is the lack of aircondition. It was 40...

I'm on the first floor... and so miserable right now. This place is most definitely not for adults or anyone not wanting to party all night. Long day of travel and no hope for a good night sleep. My bed might as well be on the dance floor. Definitely checking out in the morning.

Anyone (young) that has been to BA will most probably tell you Milhouse is the place to stay. I can confirm this as it had everything I look for in a hostel. It is a large 'hotel like' hostel with heaps of dorms and private rooms, has a roof top bar where you can chill during the day and a...

This Hostel was quite clean, with spacious dorm rooms. A little bit quiet for a "party Hostel", as we were not allowed to make any kind of noise even on a Saturday night after 9pm. But in terms of the actual amenities and staff, it was good value for money. I would recommend.

Hi Jaslyn! Thank you for your review, we really appreciate our guests take time for this! Let me just clarify something, Milhouse is a place where every night we offer a different party in our bar, we have 2 buildings, so the days that the bar remains closed are those in which the party realizes at Milhouse Hipo, but we...

Having travelled a lot and stayed in many hostels around the world I can safely say this one was the worst. The staff we thought were great, very friendly and always helpful. There is also plenty to do here with tours and activities running every day. We however felt like we were being treated like children here. Upon check in...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.

This popular hostel is housed in a beautifully restored 1905 mansion and located on one of the most important avenues in the city - Avenida de Mayo. It features modern facilities and luxurious rooms, all with private bathrooms. This hostel resembles a boutique hotel, the real difference being the price tag!
