Ada and Valentyn is an excellent bed and breakfast in the centre of Buenos Aires. It is well located, the rooms are comfortable and breakfast is more than the usual in Argentina. Ada and Valentyn are very kind people who make you feel at home instantly I can highly recommend this place to anybody who does not bother sharing the...

Ana and Valentyn were the nicest and most helpful hosts during my stay, they really made me feel at home in BsAs. They were very accommodating when I had some misadventures with my flights and had to rearrange reservations, helped me with the cabs etc They know the city really well and always had a good recommendation for me when...

This is a wonderful place to stay in Buenos Aires. It is quiet, clean, offers excellent breakfast and located right in the center of the city. Given the location, they offer the best price as well. I stayed in a single room. It was relatively spacious, very clean, and with a window to the covered patio. It had an A/C...

During my trips to Argentina, I stayed in several hotels and B&Bs. B&B Ada & Valentyn definitely stands out! The classic building has high ceilings, and is well maintained. I was traveling alone and they offered me a great single room. Quiet, yet in the very heart of Buenos Aires. I could walk to several great spots. Ada and Valentijn...

I stayed with Ada & Valentyn for 5 nights in early January 2013. I was made very welcome, so much so that by the end of my stay I felt more like a family friend than a guest at a B&B. Their house could not be more conveniently located for the CIty Centre, and its traditional character and furnishings gave...

we stayed 4 nights in november at the beginning of a 3 weeks trip starting in buenos aires. ada and valentijn made this a perfect start. the b&b is very well located, you probably won't get any closer to the centre (microcentro) and 3 subway lines in any other b&b. other points of interest and infrastructure are close by. also...

Stayed here for 3 nights in December 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Both Ada & Valentyn were incredibly hospitable, friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with high ceilings, tastefully decorated and the most comfortable bed ever! A shared bathroom was just across the hall which was always clean and available throughout the stay. Breakfast was delicious homemade breads and...

I travelled visiting different B&B’s as I think they give a personal touch to a city trip. In Ada & Valentyn I lacked exactly thát during my three nights stay. As I had missed my connecting flight I was not sure at what time I would arrive, and when I mentioned this in an email on the same day, to...

We had a great stay at Ada & Valentyn's B&B. Both were great hosts, advising on places to eat and visit during a short stay in Buenos Aires before our return home. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Buenos Aires.

I stayed here for a 2 night respite from a long stretch of $6 hostels. A worthy investment. The B&B is in an old convent, one of the original buildings in Buenos Aires. The building has character, charm and maintains its original feel. At several paces from Plaza de Mayo. Se ubica a unos pasos de Plaza de Mayo. A...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
