I'm in love with this hotel! The rooms are lovely. Plenty of space, comfy furniture, a modern touch and lots of light. The location is great, too! The hotel is literally surrounded by restaurants, cafes, colourful places to visit, beautiful streets. Also the hotel staff is so polite! The have a very comprehensive list of nearby restaurants with a brief...

I do not usually like to stay in modern hotels but this one was exceptional. From the minute we arrived the staff were absolutely fantastic, they could not have been more helpful and informative. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the room was very large and bright and the breakfast was good. The location in Palermo was great, easy to get...

I already have staid in the Hotel Ilum for many times. It has everything you expect from a Boutique Hotel: The staff is always helpful and friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the atmosphere in the hotel is positive and relaxing, the breakfast is excellent, and the location is great. You really can say that the Ilum does...

From the minute you walk through the door the welcome is fantastic and everything is clearly explained with genuine friendliness. The reception area is big and light looking on to a picturesque outdoor pool at the end. The rooms are big, clean, light and modern - great A/C and internet - massive TV (but no French or English programs). Massive...

My daughter and I spent our last night here as they were full. It did not disappoint. Our last day we enjoyed an incredible massage each with spa included. The spa is a recent addition and not included with the room, you therefore benefit from using the facilities as and when you wish. We had done a lot of sightseeing...

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. It has a great location and very modern. Upon arrival, the staff was kind to provide us with all the information you could possibly need to discover Buenos Aires. They had great recommendations for restaurants and ways to get around for all budgets and traveling styles. Our room was super nice. We...

The hotel, Ilum, in Hollywood Palermo, is close to the domestic airport, has a modern look, large rooms, bountiful breakfast and a spa, but I'll likely stay at the sister hotel Mine - in Soho - on my next visit. As with Mine, Ilum has super nice staff and Laura, the massage therapist I saw today, contractor with MASSAGE ONE,...

Our rooms 309 and 310 were large. modern "white" feel. You feel the Palermo feel: trees, vegetation, a human environment. very quiet. Very friendly reception, good internet, good location. Breakfast not included. I would recommend this place, although it is not cheap.

A lovely hotel! The staff were wonderful -could not have been more helpful. In a quiet yet accessible part of Buenos Aires, it was extremely clean and offered great breakfasts. The swimming pool was out of action, but that did not detract from our stay

This a really nice hotel in a very quiet area. Palermo Hollywood transforms from day to night, at night all restaurants and bars open but the are around the hotel still quiet. The rooms are full of light and very spacious, plenty of storage. Bathroom very nice but shower no powerful at all. Always very clean, very good housekeeping. The...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
