We stayed at the Poetry Building for four days/three nights and were very pleased. The apartment was spotless, quiet and comfortable. The bed made for great sleeping, with nice linens and such. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the only problem we encountered...More
Our stay at The Poetry Building was one to remember, perfect location, friendly and helpfull staff with beautiful clean apartments. A Home away from home. If we ever come back to Buenos Aires this will be our first stop.
We found the Poetry Building when searching for an alternative to a typical hotel for our recent stay in Buenos Aires. All arrangements, including transport from the airport and an initial stocking of food supplies, were well coordinated via email exchanges.

I have to set a context around my review: at home, we live in a detached house in a quiet suburb. Spent a week here, upon a friend's recommendation. Well located in Recoleta, lots of eateries around. Nice walking distance from the Recoleta cemeterio and...More

Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll
also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.

You should ask the hotel specifically but it's located in a neighborhood with many restaurant possibilities so I imagine so. Be sure to try Roux, at Pena 2300, about 2-3 blocks away. Excellent, intimate place.
