We were travelling off down from Lima, Peru to Bahía Blanca and decided to spend the night in BA fairly close to the Aeroparque. We chose Fierro and fell in love with it immediately, wishing that we could have spent at least another night there. The rooms literally have everything. They are spacious and have very comfortable beds and all sorts of special amenities like a wine service area and a superb shower. You are also very handy for some excellent restaurants in Palermo of which we also took great advantage. The next time we go to BA, we'll be sure to stay there again!
one of the highlights of my trip to argentina was staying here !! High end , boutique , cozy , great location . I stayed in many hotels over South America and this was a standout . Absolutely give my full recommendation and will plan on returning myself !
This review is a long time coming...I was in Buenos Aires last fall and had the most incredible stay on 2 separate occasions. My first stay was scouting for our film and I was so impressed that I booked my crew there for the shoot (last October 2019). (*They are located in the heart of Palermo - one of the coolest neighborhoods in BA - you can walk to several top restaurants and shops.) The rooms are modern and beautiful with great views and have all of the amenities - stocked wine fridge, Nespresso machine, stocked snack fridge and basket, rain shower, a nice big work desk and a comfortable seating area for meetings and relaxing. The restaurant UCO was excellent and accommodated our off-schedule meal times which was truly appreciated by everyone on the crew. They also have a beautiful wine bar/list that I thoroughly enjoyed working my way down with the guidance of their lovely restaurant/bar manager. I highly recommend the Hotel Fierro and will definitely be back on my next trip to BA - hopefully soon! Thank you again to the entire team!…
Buenos Aires is an incredible city! And the best way to experience it is at Fierro. Reason why: one of the best restaurants in (any) city is Mar (recently imported from Peru). It’s a quick hike to great shopping and a quick taxi to more shopping. Hint: Have breakfast at the hotel, it’s a foodie delight with specially made...well, everything on the menu is specially made. Buy local olive oil at the shop right next to the hotel. And you can buy three coats at the clothing store down the block while waiting for the airport taxi. Seriously.
We stayed at the Fierro Hotel in June/July 2019. Everything was perfect. Some things I loved best: the homemade bread at breakfast with beautiful never ending coffee; the amazing wine list and olive oil; the friendliness of the staff; the quiet and luxurious room; I could walk to fabulous restaurants like La Mar; the wonderful wine and olive oil bodega right next door; walking distance to top attractions; easy to grab cab if you need to go farther; wonderful neighborhood to walk around in. Fun sophisticated vibe. Hope to stay here again! Thank you Fierro!
