Very clean with helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast included. It is nice walk just a few blocks to some public squares with many restaurants. There is much more of the neighborhood feel here than in the Recoleta area.

We totally enjoyed our one night stay at The Duque with warm hospitality and gracious service both at the front desk and in the breakfast room. The patio and pool deck area were an oasis in the city with singing birds, butterflies and flowers in profusion. Green vibrant landscaping everywhere there. The spa facilities looked clean and modern, though we...

I can't say enough about how perfect our stay at the Duque Hotel was for us and our friends -- from a flurry of initial emails through our actual two-night stay. As mentioned in other reviews, everyone with whom we interacted spoke English, a definite bonus. Every email inquiry was answered promptly and informatively. This exceptional staff arranged our transport...

Great older neighborhood, incredibly nice and helpful staff, nice sized room and bathroom, (though not fancy), good breakfast with made to order eggs. Be sure to listen to staff recommendations for local restaurants. We had rooms with French doors facing the street which concerned me at first due to traffic noise, but it was not a problem because of double...

A little gem in Bueno's Aires Palermo soho district this boutique hotel has got friendly and helpful staff (that speak english) cozy common areas; TV room/library, outdoor patio with a small pool and a spa with sauna and jacuzzi in the basement. Stayed here on the tail end of my wife's birthday trip. This hotel offers luxury comfort and great service. Just about any amenity you could ask for is here. Plus it's in great walking distance of restaurants and entertainment. Loved the breakfast, the pool, spa, the staff and our room! It was all good.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
