We were given basic room with old tattered bed linen. The bathroom is in quite a state ( avocado bath). The kitchen needs a good clean. For the price paid it was a big letdown. The host tries too hard to be helpful and felt like I am under constant surveillance. If you are lonely in your travels may suit you but if you are self content avoid.
Our stay at this guest house was absolutely fantastic! The owners were so helpful and able to give great suggestions on where to eat, take a tango lesson and get groceries. We loved the map that was given to us from the hosts it made finding our way around the much easier. We ended up getting quite sick while in Argentina and found navigating the medical system a little difficult. We were given great help and instruction on where to go and which hospital was public and which was private and how the medical system was structured. They even translated prescription medications from Spanish to English for us! The house itself is beautiful. The large shared kitchen area and patio were highlight for sure. The ceilings were very tall and the rooms were large. It made the stay feel quite comfortable. This was our last place we stayed on a 45 day trip and it did not disappoint. What a gorgeous place to finish off a trip. We would recommend this place without any reservations!…
A beautiful property that has been considerately and tastefully decorated and restored, in a brilliant location. It has spacious bedrooms with a fantastic communal dining room / kitchen and roof terrace. But the absolute best thing about the property were the hosts Caroline and Lauti who made our stay in Buenos Aires. Not only are they really cool people, they consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had the most wonderful stay.
