Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. The doorman is most attentive and very pleasant. Breakfast was a plenty, choices are many ... and when you sit by the window across where the park is, it certainly makes you feel better already! I walked everywhere ... to the Eva Peron cemetery and surrounding areas! Just a left and another left, youare practicallytherein 15minutes! The obelisk is not far either ... and if i am not mistaken, the opera house is even closer!!
We had 3 nights booked here after 1st arriving in Argentina. The room are large and clean. The bed was excellent. We had originally booked the room very cheaply online and after 3 days decided to book for a further 2. I checked the online price which was still very cheap but I decided to check at reception for their price. This was double the online price but when I went back online that deal was no longer available.
For the price, rooms need updating, especially bathroom but overall clean, safe and secure. It is located in the nice downtown area, close to the sights and plenty of restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.
I spent a long vacation in Argentina and stayed in 3 hotel and all are 4 stars. However this hotel was unique and worth every peso that i paid. very clean and big room, breakfast and friendly staff. i will stay there again and again.
Booked twin room at last minute. Hotel not bad they turn the cooling off during the day and the room can get really stuffy, this wasn't so bad when we worked out could open the window. If you have children this would be concerning to have a large open window 9 stories up but cooled the room down. Problem with having window open though is that there is a lot of noise coming in. Excellent location opposite a park and within walking distance of many local attractions.
I missed my flight and needed a room for the night. I was so lucky to find this gem! The hotel is ideally located near many sights, restaurants, parks, etc. Everything seemed to be within walking distance. The staff were very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. The price is right, the location is phenomenal and the staff are awesome.
I recently spent a week at the Bisonte Libertad. It was great value and the staff were polite and professional. A few things that were absent to me: no kettle tea/coffee facilities in the room; no laundry; limited power points; thins walls hence sound from adjacent rooms travelled; and sunken mattresses. Special thanks to Colin and Victoria for their fluent English and exceptional customer service. "Thank you Colin and Victoria for helping me feel safe and directing me to the best shops and tours. I enjoyed my stay in BA, thanks to you".
I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. I checked in and took a nap and woke up covered in bites from bed bugs. I was upgraded to another room and checked the bed for bugs. Did not find anything but itched the entire two days I stayed there.
Stayed at this hotel for two nights but would not return. As other reviewers have said, it is noisy. The walls are thin and noise outside the room is loud. The bed was comfortable enough, the location was fine and the view from the breakfast room overlooking the street below was pleasant. Most disappointing was the patchy service from staff. A few times this verged on rudeness and was definitely helpful. Also, there are no irons! If you want to iron you have to go to the laundromat down the street.
Since my father like to stay around the downtown we choose to stay in this hotel that its perfectly located next to the judicial area and a few blocks away from a metro station. We liked the service and most of the staff attitude, try to do the best but sometimes been a little overrun by the workload. The rooms were okay nothing fancy but the problem was that we can still heard the street noise from the room. Wifi was an issue as well and for our meetings we had to connect at the bar most of the times to work. Breakfast was okay (loved the coffee) but the selection was mostly the set up of a classic continental breakfast so don't expect for a full buffet one. In general terms, it was a good stay for what we pay but we were hoping to see an improvement next time.
