This was our first time in Argentina, specifically Buenos Aires. The Carles Hotel was our first place to stay, am so pleased it was. The location is really excellent, easy to walk out and explore as well as find restaurants and bars, easy to hail cabs to travel a bit further/jump on a bus. The room was a good size, modern and new, breakfast was fresh and had a great selection. Carles Hotel is small - that's what we wanted, its staff and overall service are excellent. We would recommend and definitely hope to stay again. Thank you for looking after us so well!

I recently stayed at the Carles Hotel and absolutely loved it! The location in Retiro is perfect. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful and felt very safe day and night, plus it is an easy walk to Recoleta, as well as Plaza de Mayo. The hotel is in an 11-story building with only a few rooms on each floor (see photo). I reserved a suite and was so glad that I did! The room was great. Very spacious, with a living room separated from the bedroom. My suite had a balcony and plenty of windows for lots of light and nice views of the beautiful building across the street. The bed was comfortable, the heat (this was chilly June) worked perfectly and kept my room nice and toasty, and the shower was nice and hot. The furnishings were modern, with nice wood flooring. The neighborhood and hotel are nice and quiet at night (I usually wear earplugs to sleep but did not need to here). The staff was great. I was able to check in a bit early, and late checkout at 2:00. They even were able to exchange a small amount of dollars ($50) for me, and at a great rate. There is no dine-in restaurant (except for breakfast), but they offer room service for lunch and dinner and the pizza I ordered was surprisingly good (enough so that I ordered room service two different evenings). Overall I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this hotel. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Buenos Aires!

Great hotel in an excellent location. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Quite large rooms, nice furnished. Only four rooms to a floor. The staff at the front desk came to our aid with some travel arrangement problems and got us straightened out. Thanks for that.

Nice, modern hotel in a very nice part of Buenos Aires. All staff we encounter from Reception to Breakfast were friendly and very happy to assist. Breakfast was decent with a good selection. Room was clean and nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed. Wifi was fast. Definitely recommend this hotel. The staff certainly are a standout!

I spent a week at the Carles with my family (wife + 5 children). The location was perfect. Nice and safe neighborhood, very central, with easy access to Retiro, Recoleta, Palermo, Centro, San Telmo, etc. Very professional and friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Very clean. If I come back to Buenos Aires (which I hope; great city!), I will stay at this hotel for sure. I highly recommend it.

Great location, friendly staff, decent sized room, good value for the rate. Neighborhood is quiet but very near all the things you want to see in Buenos Aires. The breakfast is also generous. For a small hotel, it was perfect for a quiet intimate stay!

Lovely boutique hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights in March, it was in a great position for sightseeing. The bed was really comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. Hotel was very clean. I loved the fact that breakfast was on until quite late! We walked for miles so it was great to have a bit of a lie in! Breakfast was plentiful with fruit, cereal, eggs lots of pastries and home made cakes. Staff were helpful too.

We stayed at the Carles hotel at the start and end of our Argentina holiday. It is an excellent, modern hotel situated in a great location in Buenos Aires. There is a small but well equipped gym for those who want to keep active and the breakfast selection provided at the hotel is really good. The rooms are lovely and all of the staff are extremely helpful. We used their WhatsApp service to arrange PCR tests whilst we were staying there and everything was organised without issue. Highly recommended hotel if you need a place to stay in Buenos Aires!

I stay at the Carles hotel whenever I am in Buenos Aires. It's is located in one of the most sophisticated areas of Buenos Aires, just around the corner from Arroyo, a quiet street flanked by the main art galleries in the city. The rooms are filled with light, comfortable and with a street view. Great breakfast too! And most importantly, its highly professional, helpful, and friendly staff.
