The hotel is located up on a small hill which, when on the patio, provides scenic shots over the valley. Much like all of Stellenbosch, the hotel grounds are very beautiful and covered with a variety of trees, plants, flowers, etc. I stayed in the older area of the hotel and from the decor to the furnishings, it is in...

I stayed at the Devon Valley Hotel for three nights at the occasion of a work-related workshop. The hotel was really nice. The room I stayed in was OK: not very big, but the bed was really good, and the bathroom was well equipped with everything you need. The hotel facilities were great. Breakfast and lunch buffets were excellent, dinner...

We visited the Flavours restaurant at Devon Valley Hotel with friends to celebrate a birthday. The hotel is set in a peaceful valley outside Stellenbosch. The restaurant offers a lavish Sunday Buffet. Everybody in our party was happy with the food choices provided The background music was excellent - provided by a male pianist. It was a good choice for...

This is a lovely property that has lush foliage, garden and vines growing on it's own grounds. The guest rooms are located in small clusters on the property and there is one main building that has rooms on two floors, all others are luxury ground floor units in small buildings. I had a beautiful room in a quad where we...

The hotel is situated in an amazing spot in a hill, surrounded by vineyards, with a vista of the mountains. The rooms are quite small but comfortable. The hotel is quite old and the rooms are in need of updating. It looks like there is a newer part of the hotel so be sure you request that. The main (older)...

The staff on arrival were both friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the room was in need of attention especially as far as cleanliness goes. Some of the curtains need replacing and it unfortunately did worry me. The food was excellent and we had an excellent weekend. The fan in the bathroom made a terrible noise. I took it up with reception...

Had a really great time at this hotel. The rooms were lovely. The restaurant staff were very friendly, professional and attentive. The grounds were beautiful. We stayed here as part of our Riviera tour of South Africa. The hotel is perfectly placed for visiting the Cape Winelands, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. We had a lovely room overlooking the mountains and vineyards. The hotel has it's own vineyard. The food and wines were excellent and very good value. The staff were friendly, courteous, helpful and always smiling....
