At first I want to say that the stay was really nice. During our stay in Stellenbosch we felt very comfortable and welcome. The owner Penelope is really nice and she is warmly and courteous. The house is really clean and there is a little garden and a swimming pool. It's safe, because there is a fence around the house...

I enjoyed my stay at Penelope's Guesthouse. Her service was quite warm and welcoming. All necessities were taken care of and access was quite simple, made one feel right at home. Breakfast was great and she was always on standby in the case you need anything. Excellent service, homely and not to overwhelming.

Penelope is a discreet, efficient host who was kind enough to postpone our visit when I fell ill on the date I'd originally booked. Her guest house is in a quiet part of Stellenbosch, and our room had a beautiful view of the trees and mountains. I had originally requested a standing fan in the room, and when I arrived...

We stumbled upon Penelope's guesthouse by chance, and were extremely satisfied with our stay. Penelope is a friendly host and the place is enchanting. The room was super comfy with a great bed and a small private balcony facing green, green and more green. If you are heading to Stellenbosch - be sure to secure your place here in advance....

I stayed 2 nights at Penelope's in Stellenbosch and it definitely was not enough. Penelope was a fantastic host and organised a wine tour for me 30 minutes after I arrived, which picked me up right from the door. The room was beautiful and it was nice having a few extras like the Nespresso. The breakfast was excellent and the...

Penelope`s guesthouse is always a must, when we visit South Africa. It is in a nice, quite and secure area. Penelope and Dries are really great and helpful. For us it is always a great pleasure to stay there. Penelope cares for details, like flower decoration in the house and rooms, home baked cookies and an excellent breakfast. Thanks again...
