While it is quite a way outside Oudtshoorn, it is very convenient for the ostrich farm and cave attractions. Also well placed for the Swartberg Pass, which is well worth doing as art of a round trip. Rooms are nice and well equipped and breakfast good. Grounds were pleasant, especially after a good day's sightseeing. The area was extremely quiet...

We felt it was a shame to stay 1 night only at the B&B. The hostess was very friendly, and even offered free cake/brandy when we checked in. The room was very clean, elegantly furnished and even had air-conditioning! Breakfast had a lot of variety to choose from too. We would recommend staying here if you are planning to visit...

Very pleasent setting, with great welcome from the owner. Offers nice swimming pool and a goid restaurant. Breakfast also very nice and fresh. Nicely decorated rooms, but somewhat old (small tv, sliding bathroom door that doesn't close intirely). Very nice experience all in all

After a long drive from the Strand we arrived at Die Fonteine guest house. Just a warning, the entrance to the guest house is not far from the main road and if you let your eyes stray to the church in front of you, you will miss the turn of at your left hand side. We were welcomed with a...

We had varied experiences with accommodation across the Western Cape, but this was by far our favourite guesthouse of the trip! The owner is so friendly and informative! She had lots of information on the surrounding area, including restaurants (menus, and was happy to call to make reservations for us) and activities. There was lovely homemade carrot cake as a...

Conveniently located between the Caves and the Wildlife Ranch. Our 4 sleeper unit was perfect and as a family of 3, we couldn't have asked for more. Heaps of attention to detail and spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable and with clean crisp bedding. Near enough to restaurants for dinner, whilst drinks could be had on the guest house terrace from...

We stayed over for a night on our way to Cape Town. What a lovely surprise. The accommodation is very nice "a home away from home" and the view is beautiful. It's just outside Oudtshoorn near the cango caves so it's very picturesque. Very nice breakfast. A great place for a stop over and for exploring the area.

We stayed at Die Fonteine for one night and we absolutely loved it. The room is stylish and the breakfast was fantastic. The location is also great and served as a base to visit various places in the area. We also drove to Prince Albert via the Swartbergpas. Lovely host and we got complimentary carrot cake on arrival. I can...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This guest house is situated just outside Oudtshoorn on the way to Cango Caves. This guest house is owned and run by Anzue. There are 6 double rooms each with their own entrance and ensuite bathrooms. Rooms are spacious and new with wonderful finishes. The setting of the guest house is beautiful and we loved eating a delicious breakfast while being surrounded by mountains and watching ostriches nearby. I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment especially to guests touring The Garden Route. ... more   less
