Beautiful spot. Great for hiking, biking, running. Did the Enon trail as my early morning (trail) run. Chilly cold, sun coming up over the mountain ridge, beautiful red rocks, fantastic. We stayed in the 'red rocks' cottage. Very comfortable. Thank you Pedro for warm hospitality (and the breakfast and prepared dinners!)

Thanks to Petro and Hermanus for a memorable stay in the Little Karoo. We stayed in Red Rock Cottage, which was well equipped for our self-catering stay. There was even an indoor braai. Even though it was the middle of winter, we were warm at night thanks to the cosy bedding. The cottage was beautifully situated, being nestled under a...

Really a beautiful area to visit and travel all the "back" roads less traveled. Cottage was nice with clean linen etc but unfortunately the stove/oven did not work and was a bit noisy due to cars travelling passed on dirt road close to the cottage. Red Stone Hills around the cottages really beautiful and offer excellent photo opportunities. We look...

Thank you for the review. The brand new oven installed the previous day was faulty. I apologised and offered you the oven in our breakfast room. The oven was fixed the next day. Grateful you enjoyed the excellent photo opportunities of the red stone hills! There was more traffic because of the long weekend, normally not much traffic! Look forward...

We spent a wonderful weekend at Red Stone Hills. The house (Red Rock) had everything we needed. Petro is a great host. We ordered the lamb braai for the first evening and loved it. Will definitely return in the future. Highly recommended for nature lovers.

We had the most wonderful and amazing stay at Red Stone Hills. We began our 2-week Karoo trip there, and it was definitely the best place we stayed at - we could easily have spent the entire two weeks there! We will definitely be back again for more. Petro and Hermanus are very gracious hosts and we felt very welcomed...

This was our third visit to Red Stone Hills. This time we stayed at Aloe Gardens which is their one bedroom chalet. It was lovely to have an indoor fireplace as it was really cold outside. Nice big bathroom and the bedroom had panel heaters and an air conditioner. Petro is such an amazing host and came to the cottage...

We received wonderful hospitality at Red Stone Hills. They brought dinner and firewood to our cottage and served a delicious breakfast. The cottage (Ostrich Palace) was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The surrounding scenery is stunning. I will definitely return.

We stayed in Bushmans cottage with 3 bedrooms a fireplace and a large table to enjoy a meal with friends and family. This suited our needs perfectly for the 2 nights that we stayed there. Accommodation was clean and comfortable.

Although we were in the smallest cottage which is apparently not used very often for guests we had a very warm comfortble night with al we needed. We joined friends in one of the old original houses (Bushmans cottage I think) which was beautiful with views across the valley. Worth contacting Petru directly to ask about the position of the...

You feel like you are somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Just the sound of Hadidas and cows and now and then a vehicle that passes in a dust cloud. Beautifully restored farm cottages with each cottage’s history in detail. We enjoyed the indoor braai and fire place. Wood is available on the farm for a few rand. Petro and...
