We really had a wonderful stay at the Turnberry, staff were very friendly, the breakfast was tops and we enjoyed every moment of our stay! What is so wonderful the location is so central and we could walk and observe and see Oudtshoorn!

Boutique hotel is a misnomer. There is nothing creative or individualistic about the place. The very contrary in fact.We stayed in a garden room, which sounds pleasant. Not at all, the room felt gloomy and oppressive.I am surprised that some reviewers recommend it particularly for the business traveller because the internet reception is extremely poor. The attitude of the staff is negative - across...

Rooms good, well appointed, be mindful you are going to hear other guests moving around both up the stairs & in their rooms + TV's. Accept you will not sleep till your fellow guests go to bed. Breakfast was a disgrace, poorly set up & staff disorganized, leave plenty of time if you are after a hot breakfast order.

All you need as a business traveller and more. Good service, restuarant on site. Beautifull little bar area with a fitting atmosphere. Place to work in your room with free wireless. Will support again.

We stayed in the hotel in the mid of March. The hotels ambience, set up and room is good. The receptionist is friendly and welcoming. We wanted to order dinner as oudtshroom is a small place as there is a limited option outside. Also we were tired with the road travel so we thought of chilling in the hotel itself....

I enjoyed the stay very much. I would appreciate a two point plugin the room for charging cell phone etc. With a thermometer that reached 38 C it was so good to get into the pool to cool down, and then a ice cold beer in the adjacent pub.

After a wonderful trip around the Garden Route in South Africa we concluded a great holiday in a wonderful country at your Hotel. We felt welcome and had a relaxing last night stay before returning to Cape Town to fly back home.

We stayed at Turnberry Boutique Hotel in Oudtshoorn for 1 night in March. This was a comfortable hotel in the centre of the town with free on-site parking (under a canopy in the shade) and in a quiet location. We were in Room A2 on the first floor which had traditional furnishings. The hotel does not have a lift but...

The South African Star Grading Council has strict criteria to grade hotels. The fact that you did not like the old fashioned interior does not make it a 3 or a 4 star hotel. Personal taste in decorations is not part of this strict grading system. Boutique Hotel also has very little to do with the decorations or style -...

Everything was wonderful. A hotel I will most definitely recommend. Management and staff were fantastic. My family visited from the U.K. And fell in love with the place. Thanks for making us feel right at home.
