The Hotel has a great view, its pretty and scenic and tucked away in the mountains. Overall my experience was not great at all. The staff was not friendly, whilst they were accommodating, it left at lot to be desired of the service. Secondly the place is very busy, bordering on noisy. The night I arrived both bars downstairs had...

We in a very vibrant and busy village with some of Cape Town's best eateries and socialising spots on our doorstep. It's not the Camps Bay strip and is certainly tucked away behind Table Mountain but yes it does sometimes get festive. My advise is to go and meet the colourful locals but if you are looking for a quieter...

Nice hotel in Noordhoek, in the village so quite a buzzy place to stay. My room was on the first floor. Worth checking before you book to see where your room is - there is no lift. It had a sofa I'd last seen at my granny's house and net curtains in the bathroom likewise. The double bed was two...

Yes, it's a continuous process redoing up a hotel. You should have seen what I took on 3 years ago... We are busy with a complete refurb through out and the rooms are being tackled now. Our beds are ridiculously comfortable, that is for sure. Please just ask for a king bed if that's what you like next time. And...

Has been 2 years since my last stay and it was great to be back at the hotel (and in "the village"). For me, it is often the small things that make a big difference, and you can see that the hotel management have been investing in the hotel. A new fireplace in the restaurant area; some structural changes there...

My wife and I stayed over at this hotel as my daughter was getting married in Noordhoek. We stayed over for two nights. At over R1200 and R1700 for the second night, this is a steep price to pay for a standard room, little service and non inclusive of breakfast. I can get much better at a guesthouse in the...

Hi Pierre Thanks for the feedback on your visit to Noordhoek in May. It was dealt with as soon as I read your review. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and decent. Premises of this Hotel had lots of space for Car parking, large enough to walk around. Several Restaurants in the vicinity and on the Premises of the Hotel was a big advantage. Pubs & Restaurants were a bit crowded as Locals and Residents throng here. Overall a good experience.

Visited Village Sushi shortly after the kitchen fire. The menu was limited to Sushi which was excellent. Service was friendly and quick ans the sushi expertly prepared and presented. The tuna sashimi was amazing. The kitchen is now fully functioning again so we will return to try the other dishes.
