Firstly let me say this is a lovely Guest House with great views from the breakfast/lounge balcony. The staff are friendly and attentive and the breakfast is great. We were allocated the Pansy room which had no view really other than a side ways view of the Lagoon from the rather tired balcony with poor quality garden furniture on it....

Amanzi Island Lodge, what an awesome place!  First stop on our honeymoon my husband surprised me with 4 nights staying at Amanzi in their Seahorse Honeymoon Suite.  Beautiful room with an incredible view of the sea and the Knysna heads. Two bathrooms with a romantic Victorian bath and a shower for two!  Personal touches like slippers, gowns and chocolates for...

Excellent value for money. Personnel are very friendly and helpful. Very nice game drive, stay and nature. Will definitely go again and also recommend to others. And its so close to Bloemfontein that you can break away for a weekend.

Very Friendly and helpful staff, activities were great and the game drives offered a great insight on nature and wildlife. The guide knew so much about the animals and plant life in the reserve and was able to fully answer our quesrions. I look forward to visiting again.

Lovely walks from the hotel and kayaks/bikes available for use as well. When we checked out and got the bill, I was surprised how much we were...

We stayed over in the starfish suite, was really lovely, and the patio / veranda was lovely. Great spacious cupboards and friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely although a bit slow. Next time I will be sure to stay longer. Lovely walks on the island make for a romantic stroll and the room was super comfortable

With breathtaking views in most of its suites, modern clean rooms and great service like that of the Amanzi Island lodge staff it's hard to beat at any other lodge. My short 4 night stay at the Lodge had me not wanting to continue my Garden Route road trip. The welcoming staff which are always at your service are hard...
