This was not just another "hotel" on our Garden Tour but a real find. Very well appointed rooms, lovely facilities, excellent staff and super food. I have just read a comment that some of the staff were abrasive. We found anything but that and received excellent help, advice and service from Cher and Cheryl. Local restaurants need to be booked...

I researched for accommodation that had free bicycles and kayaking included and it definitely made the weekend memorable! We went cycling every morning and there was no time limit at all!! As newbies at kayaking, it should probably have been advised to rather wear our costumes, as we tipped and got sopping wet! All part of the fun and adventure,...

Maybe a product of the area, but Leisure Isle is a guesthouse/B&B charging boutique hotel prices. We found this to be an acceptable but poor value spot. Staff are mixed - some are very friendly but others are abrasive, in particular the ladies in the office (who seem to run the place).

Although we did receive an unexpected upgrade of room (huge lagoon facing suite), I would imagine that all the other rooms were as well appointed, if smaller. The staff provided an excellent service, without exception & the food was nothing short of memorable, both breakfast & particularly dinner.

We received a good service, but we find many problems about general cleaning (sunbeds, sofas, tablecloths). So good service and quite position, but not good value for money. Good choice at breakfast and good dinner.

Second time in this lodge and will be back! Especially the massages applied by Ilse are a fantastic experience and we enjoyed them very much. The food and service are also very very enjoyable and we would recommend.

We spent five nights here with friends. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with advice about local activities and restaurants. We had lagoon facing rooms with terraces which were beautifully presented and very spacious with very comfortable beds. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and we had two very tasty dinners in the hotel. The beach opposite the hotel...

After many years of going along the garden route this was the first time we had stumbled upon Leisure Isle and what a find! We normally stay in big golf resorts but Leisure Isle Lodge was a little gem. Like so many great places to stay it's all about the people, yes the door handles were out the arc as...

We booked this hotel as it had a lagoon view and our agent discussed with the hotel my wife's walking difficulties and asked for a room near reception and the dining room. On arrival using the hotels own directions we went into reception with our hand luggage after a long drive and were asked to go back to our car...

Leisure Isle sits right in the bay in Knysna. The lodge is less than 50m from the water and a small beach and Leisure Isle is almost a private enclave of houses. The lodge is beautifully equipped with a terrace overlooking the water offering a great view during breakfast or dinner. We arrived very late, were met and taken care...
