I spent one night at the lodge while driving the Garden Route and it was great! The room itself was really comfortable. The highlight was the morning elephant interaction. It was really intimate compared to the elephant walk (which was also well worth doing!) Breakfast...More

The time included with the overnight stay is brilliant! It's a very small group of people that go out to see the elephant's before any other visitors come along. We got a to walk with the elephant's, have great info from the guides and loads of pictures/video as part of this. Spent nearly 2 hours out there with them, then went back to the lodge for the included breakfast. After a that we did the feeding, where you get to buy a bowel of fruit and feed them. Starts with a dvd give some history. Was good, but the morning interaction was much better better.
