Excellent sized rooms and very pretty and comfortable. Superb location. Liked the little touches including complementary port. Clean and good sized pool with fluffy towels available from reception. Fresh flowers everywhere. Parking arrangements simple and just under the building. Restaurant Burgundy across the road provided inclusive excellent breakfasts served by great staff.

Staying in room 17 for 3 days was a delight. Not only was the bedroom spacious and the bed extremely large and comfortable, there was also a large living area and self catering kitchen. The pool was outside the door but sadly not heated and so very cold in spite of 85 degree temperatures. Breakfast was excellent at the Burgundy...

My first stay at Auberge Burgundy, which was recommended by one of our party of 3, who had stayed here before. We were more than happy with the accommodation which definitely had a french feel. It was comfortable, stylishly decorated and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would not hesitate in recommending for a stay in Hermanus. We...

Recently had the pleasure of a 4 night break at Auberge Burgandy and was unable to find fault with the whole package. Rooms are spacious, clean and upmarket and the courtyard setting give a very relaxing boutique feel for an establishment that is in the heart of the town. Front of house service was very friendly and informative. The breakfast...

We had a very nice stay at the Auberge Burgundy, close to restaurants and old fishing port. Our room was very nice and we loved our stay. Breakfast was at the nearby restaurant Burgundy and you could just choose from the meny, sit out when the weather was good and enjoy.

We loved this little hotel / guest house. We had two different rooms during our stay (our own fault for booking too late) but the staff were very accommodating in making the room swap easy and painless. Both rooms were well furnished and full of nice extra touches, such as fresh milk in the fridge for the coffee (and a...

If you want to be in centre of Hermanus, and location trumps everything else then this may be for you. However, we were disappointed. No air con, no fan. Noise from shutters and nightclub nearby disturbed sleep. Unfriendly welcome by management and reception staff. Rooms dated, in need of upgrading. Lighting poor. Poor value for money. Swimming area in need...

We have stayed at the Auberge Burgundy many times now. It is as great as ever. Best rooms are on the second floor with balconies overlooking the garden. We strongly recommend to anyone seeking a good place to stay in Hermanus.
