Stayed for 5 nights. Central to east Cape Town. Near Groot Constantia winery and up-scale mall. Yet reasonably priced. Good affordable restaurants nearby. Superb, clean bathroom complete with tub and shower. Comfortable bed. Quiet, secluded pool with outstanding view of Table Mountain (east side). Manager very helpful. Secure parking. Near main freeway to downtown Cape Town and easy drive to...

We use CP every year for a few days on our trip to SA. It is on a quiet residential street, with a pleasant garden and swimming pool. ‘Our’ room opens onto a private bit of the garden, with a patio and a couple of loungers. The room is well furnished, with a large bed and big bathroom with bath...

We initially lost our way to Constantia Palms and phoned Gerrie the owner of the B & B for directions which were very concise and good. We were told that he would not be there to greet us but Sydney would be on duty. Sydney, the Malawian manager turned out to be the only person we would see for the...

My 26-year-old son and I recently stayed at Constantia Palms to be close to my niece, who had just had her first child. Upon arrival (at 10pm), we were pleased to be welcomed by the owner Gerrie, whom we found to be a warm and generous man. It would be impossible to find fault with the accommodation or the service,...

I made my booking for a business trip to cape town constantia, all was well and I was set! When my flight got delayed by two hours, something totally out of my control, I had the decency to phone the palms and inform them of the relay, the man told me I must find alternative accommodation, this was 19h30 on...

We are Constantia Palms regulars, visiting each year, and occupying the same room each time (if we can). This year the B&B has become a B no B, so a new experience awaited. The rooms have coffee (the real stuff, not the powdered muck!), biscuits and rusks, so you don't have to venture out completly unrefreshed of a morning. (I...

We have stayed at Constantia Palms before when visiting Cape Town and each time we have had a delightful stay. We stayed in the penthouse suite which is very well appointed and has stunning views over Constantia. Breakfast is no longer served at Constantia Palms but this did not detract in any way from our enjoyment of staying here, there...

We wanted a quick getaway from Paarl and arranged all last minute called Garrie in the morning before we jumped in the car. All no problem. Very well maintained and looked after b&b. Small private patio/terrace.There is no breakfast anymore- but there are lots of places around even within walking distance. We will be back if we want to get...

This well designed Bed and Breakfast property was superb, centrally located with every possible amenity. The rooms were reasonably sized, light and bright, beautifully and practically furnished with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was generously proportioned and well equipped. The extra touches of lovely linnens, quality hand creams, shampoos and soaps, a daily dose of chocolate etc were well appreciated...

As all the superlatives have been used before, we would just like to thank Gerrie for a most wonderful time. We were lucky to have been 'upgraded' to the enormous suite on the top floor with views of the mountains. Every morning, Gerrie would come into the breakfast room and talk to all the guests to ensure that we were...
