Bruce and his team are warmful and give very good advice. Excellent location, with restaurants in the streets around. You can even have a walk in a few streets around, that is not evident in south africa !

This was a great spot in Cape Town. The staff were helpful. The rooms were small but perfect. It was close to everything we needed. Bruce and his dogs were wonderful. I think the value for the money was wonderful.

Bruce and his team are wonderful. They sent a taxi to the airport to pick us up and welcome us although it was quite late. Bruce gave us useful information for visiting the area. The house is very well located at walking distance from restaurants and down town points of interest. Rooms are well decorated and convenient although the one... More

This is s very cute, well-maintained property in the City Center area- a less touristy more multi-cultural area not far from the Waterfront. The rooms are nicely decorated and the breakfast was substantial with fresh-made eggs. The property is very secure and I always felt safe walking around or in my room even though I was by myself. There are... More

Great place in a great area. Owners are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very small but quaint in a Bo Kaap sort of way. Breakfast is excellent, amazing muffins. Everything in Cape Town is in easy reach though we had a car. Rooftop terrace is pretty bare and could use some nice furniture but the view is spectacular

In Bo Kaap, one of the nicest coloured houses, few meters from longstreet, green market and the start for free walking guided tours (historical, district 6...). Easy access to citybus. I spent 5 great days in Wale lodge, clean room, spotless kitchen, great breakfast, nice welcome. Can be slightly noisy when people are talking in the shared area, although it... More

Nice and clean bb ! Room is relatively small but clean , limited tv channels . The room is very close to the kitchen / breafast area which makes it noisy in the early morning ! Breakfast is simple but nice . The reception is nice and friendly Just perfect for one night

I loved staying at Rose Lodge. Not only the ensuite room is modern, beautifully decorated and comfortable but the owner (Bruce) is the best landlord EVER!!! He makes you feel at home from the very beginning of your stay, gives you tips and is always there for you for whatever you may need. I also highly recommend this accommodation for... More

My day was good, when I had the chance to call at nine and check in at 9:30 Rose Lodge, one of the colourful houses I normally only take photo's from. The location in A1*. The rooms are small, neat and very clean. There is all you need to discover Cape Town: a comfortable bed, modern bathroom, enough space for... More

We stayed in Rose Lodge for a few nights. The location is excellent in the heart of Bo Kaap, a 10 minute walk to Long st, close to restaurants and bars.
