Rose Lodge consists of a couple of small townhouses in the old Malay 'Bo-kaap' district. The location is very convenient; just a couple of blocks from downtown. As these are townhouses, the rooms are all different. Mine was fortunately not on the street (can get noisy) and had its own roof deck with great views over downtown. The house that...

Conveniently located with access to Long Street, a great African Restaurant and even the center of Cape Town. Was given a most awesome reception and well taken care of during stay, even the checkout was as you'd expect from such lovely people. The self service breakfast was more than excellent.

We loved staying at Rose Lodge. Staff was really friendly. Rooms are basic but have everything you need and are clean. The way they arranged breakfast is quite handy (Rose lodge provides ingredients, you make your breakfast whenever you want in the communal kitchen)

The centre is in walking distance and there are good restaurants around, Marco's African Place Restaurant round the corner. Self service breakfast at any time. Would strongly recommend a stay here. I will be back with my wife.

Rose Lodge is in a fantastic central location within day walking distance of the centre and a good location for driving out to Camps Bay for a sundowner. We stayed in 22 on Rose, which is just down the road. The room was spotlessly clean and had access onto a little courtyard, but as other reviewers have pointed out, the...

During our two week holiday going from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth along the Garden Route, my boyfriend and I stayed at Rose Lodge for three nights. Location: Rose Lodge is located in Bo-Kaap, which itself is an attraction with its colourful houses. The B&B is in walking distance to the city centre (where you can catch the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus)...
