A wonderful stay. So many lovely little luxuries. The staff very friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast was brilliant so many choices. I can highly recommend. Both Denise and Stan particularly helpful.

Excellent guest house really well situated with only a short walk/ride to the real centre of town. However it's very quiet with great views. Best of all though is the staff. They are simply the best...in every way. You must take up their recommendations for places to eat. Just a great place to stay. We'll be back.

Staff exceptionally friendly and attentive. They couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast food was exceptional and lovely setting by the pool. Very warm and cosy environment. Good restaurant recommendations.

The spirit of service at this little guest house is just outstanding! The staff is genuinely concerned about your well-being. The area is quiet and you feel very safe. The small combined shop/restaurant at the corner outside the hotel is nice and friendly. It's easy to get an uber to/from downtown (we went by uber a lot of times in...

We spent 3 nights at Acorn House - great welcome from Sam, Denise & Beate. Lovely room, good breakfast selection and everything carefully cooked and presented. Lots of help with booking taxis, restaurants etc. Would definitely return!

A clear 5. Star rating. For nearly everything. From staff, over breakfast, the garden, the owners. One of our favorites in SA. Have a look at the web page for more information. Close to Table Mountain, cable station within 45 min reach by foot. Helpful for any questions, from restaurant and golf reservations to tipps and ideas what to do.

Acorn House is excellent and the staff outstanding. Its quiet location, below Table Mountain and within a short and cheap uber ride from the centre of Cape Town was ideal for us. Breakfast provided the best 'cold table' spread we have ever had. Excellent fresh fruit and juices, a range of breads and cold meats. You can order eggs cooked...

We stayed just 1 night and arrived around midnight because of our late flight. The guesthouse had arranged a taxi for us. Staff was not there when we arrived, but there was such a friendly welcome letter for us in the hall. There was a self service bar in the living room so that we could take a drink after...

From the moment we arrived we felt valued and welcomed. The breakfasts are excellent and it is lovely to sit in the garden for breakfast or tea. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. The hosts are informative and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Acorn House for 6 nights in October and were delighted with our room and balcony looking down over the city which was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served inside or outside depending on the weather and included a different cooked item each day with all the other usual breakfast items. But above all, and what made our...
