Stayed here for 3 nights during our South African trip after several days on the garden route. We had a room upstairs that overlooked the street with a large bed. This place feels very secure with a gate to the parking lot, and security door on the front. The keys are all color coded very well so you know which... More

Breakfast at Cactusberry Lodge is a sensation of tastes, textures and color. Dishes have been designed and created by Owner/manager Barbara - a great hostess with a well trained and very pleasant staff. Cleanliness and order are clearly very important, atmosphere is relaxed. Highly recommended !

We spent four nights at this bed & breakfast in August 2012. Since it was wintertime in Cape Town we were upgraded to a room which was very spacious and quiet. The location was great and we were able to walk to the city center with no problem. The owner (Barbara) was incredibly helpful in helping us plan our time... More

Excellent! This small bed & breakfast offers an excellent retreat in Cape Town. Nicely decorated and very clean and comforable rooms. A very delicious homemade gourmet breakfast was included. The owner was very helpful with tips and suggestions, as well as very accomodating with my travel plans. The lodge sit within view of Table Mountain in a very nice neighborhood.... More

This was recommended to us by friends and it was the perfect place to stay when in Cape Town. Ideally suited to see the main city as well as the more luxurious waterfront as well as Table Mountain. Barbara, our host, was the most helpful and accommodating person! Full of ideas, timings, when might be the best to do things... More

We stayed for 3 nights and found Cactusberry Lodge ideal for its location - easy walk down through the main park into the City Centre. The house was beautifully decorated and quietly situated. The splash pool, though small, was refreshing and the garden/sun deck a tranquil oasis from the bustle of town. Barbara treated us with a wonderful finely cut... More

We only stayed one night before flying home. We had our young son with us and the owners were very accommodating. They let us use their kitchen for heating his food and sterilizing his bottles. We had a late flight and as the lodge was not full, they let us keep our room for free until we had to leave... More
