We stayed at Mountain Magic Garden Suites for 6 nights and it proved an ideal location for seeing Cape Town and the Cape peninsula. We stayed in the Bay Lights apartment which was pleasant and comfortable and we had great views across Table Bay from our balcony. It was a quiet residential area which we enjoyed after our hectic days...

We are a family of four (with 2 young kids aged 5 and 8) that visited Cape Town in the middle of winter (July). The weather was clear and crisp and we had a great time visiting the V&A Waterfront, the 2 Oceans aquarium, Bo-Kaap, Table Mountain and doing the sightseeing bus tour during our 4 days there. We stayed...

WOnderful place. good price, lots of space, great location. All around, it is great, We stayed here while house hunting with our small family- we made a good choice on staying here instead of some hotel. Had everything we needed. THe only thing i would have changed is that i wish it were closer to restaurants but everyone delivers in...

We stayed few days in the Mountain Magic Garden Suites, and we enjoyed it a lot. The view from the balcony was amazing and the location is very good. Owners are very friendly young couple and they were very helpful and always available.

I spent three nights here with my wife last December and it was hands down our favorite place we stayed during our month long trip around the south of Africa. The property is very nice, the neighborhood is just as advertised. The views of Table Mountain are just as good or better than the best pictures, and Kon and Nui...

We stayed for a week, very pleasant owners who went out of their way to make us feel welcome - including providing breakfast for our first morning. The location is great and in good weather I am sure the views are breathtaking. The place was spotlessly clean but in need of a paint. However the suite was limited - particularly...

It is always a disappointment when guests are disappointed. That's why we describe the suite and the facilities in every detail on the booking sites. We do not plan to install grills or ovens in the kitchenettes, because most guests do not cook huge meals in the suites regularly, it is not how they were designed. We find the electric...

We arrived in Cape Town with no accomodation and on the off chance enquired at the Mountain Magic. Kon and his staff went out of their way to have a suite prepared and make us feel welcome. Thrilled by the location, the views, the comfort and the convenience of our suite, we extended our stay to 5 nights.

I found our suite needed to be updated, as the TV we had was the smallest colour TV I have seen in a long time. The sleeper couch was not comfortable and we also found the shower to be very small with only shampoo available in the bathroom. I had to go and buy toiletries as we always get these...

Hi Lesley, thanks for your review. We always like to know where we can do better. We will definitely look into getting bigger televisions and air-con units. I would, however, like to correct a few facts: There is indeed an adapter plug in the suite. Either me, Nolitha or Nolunthu are also there to help if an extra one is...

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay for a family of 4 for 12 days - this was our first time ever in Cape Town and South Africa. Given our highly energetic children of 9 and 11 it was important for us to find a place they could move around freely while being safe. This place is ideal...

Our son is 17 months old, so my wife decided that we should try self catering instead of a hotel and how right she was! This place is super, with big comfortable rooms, a kitchenette, sitting room, a garden and a swimming pool - plenty of space for our son to play and being able to make porridge for him...

The Mountain Magic Garden Suites are situated in a quiet residential area on a no-through road. Each suite is a large self-catering apartment and all have their own balcony or patio. We're very family friendly, as two suites have their own garden and all guests can use our large pool and the green field next door.
