I don't like writing bad reviews of places, but this one is unavoidable. This hotel is over-priced, and very dated. The lobby is in desperate need of a revamp as are most of the public areas in the hotel. The hallways are dark and the room doors still use old-style locks. There is no mini-bar in the rooms; no tea/coffee...

This hotel leans toward a fiftyish era with a modern day african / western style. It is nestled between the sea and the mountain in a quiet suburb 10 minute walk to the city bowl. Thus it gives the impression of holiday but yet it is close to all the main conference and government buildings, company gardens, etc. If you...

We Absolutely Love this Hotel, although its not the Ritz full of glass and the latest and greatest gadgets, This Hotel takes you back in time to where customer satisfaction was key to success. We travel to Capetown Once a year and the thought never crosses our mind to choose another hotel. Here you walk in and you are always...

We had 2 rooms in this rather big hotel. you do not see it from the outside but it has a lot of rooms. Rooms are clean and spacious, bathrooms are complete and clean but a little bit old. The breakfast buffet is quite complete and also for dinner it is ok. Nothing extraordinary but a large choice of vegetables,...

Basic but nice city hotel. Rooms are sufficient. Ours had a splendid view on the Table Mountain morning glory. The breakfast is the traditional tourist class style breakfast with fresh made omelettes cereals etc. The hotel has a secured parking lot in the basement. There is however room for improvement. Our experience during our stay however was that the staff...

Rooms are perfect! Beds and bathroom clean and big. Stayed for 3 nights in Cape Town to explore the city. Taxi service and free wifi available. Also nice bar and good breakfast! At the reception you can make some reservations for trips if you like. Service is great.

We stayed here in October of 2015 as part of a tour. Location was good. We could walk to the "around town" tour bus. Neighborhood was quiet at night. The breakfast was also pretty good. Our room was okay. The bed was comfortable enough. Was not happy about the condition of the shower in our room. There was black mold...

Very oldfashioned. Needs a lot of work... Staff is friendly. Pool freezing. Bathroom crappy. Beds are fine. Breakfast buffet good enough, very good value for money. Not so much for this hotel. Would not have stayed here if it weren't for the fact that the hotel was part of our tour.

The only good thing about the Hotel was that the sheets were in fact clean...I will certainly not be returning...Visited the hotel on a business trip with a visitor and we were terribly dissapointed. I booked the hotel through an intermediate and will not be using them again either

This hotel is little bit older and probably needs some renovation, but rooms and washrooms are clean. Staff was very helpful, kept my baggage because I arrived too early. Room was also prepared two hours earlier than official check-in time. Pool looks good also, but now it's bit cold to swim.
