Better than average for a 'city' hotel. Clean, good sized rooms, comfortable beds (pillows could be a bit 'softer'), substantial breakfast with plenty of choice. The Cape Town Lodge is good value for it's central location. The only let down is the cost of accessing the hotel WiFi. Only 'sold' in 500 MGB which may be required for a 'very...

We love Cape Town Lodge Hotel. The Hotel Manager, Cindy, makes every possible effort to accommodate our needs and make our stay perfect. Frank the bartender probably has a secret masters degree in psychology, making every guest feel good and uplifted. As with the rest of the staff, we have never met a more welcoming and service minded group of...

Great hotel central to most of the things to see and do in Cape Town, the staff are very friendly and efficient, rooms very nice and well appointed with wifi etc, the restaurant was really good with great service, good food, and well priced. There is a bar, but for me I didn't enjoy it as they have a smoking...

One night stay, check in efficient and painless, room clean, breakfast buffet a normal average hotel breakfast, coffee room for improvement, The Butcher shop steakhouse on the hotel premises, steaks were average ok. WiFi ZAR 300 the one negative. So for quick in and out at a good price and easy accessible location you can do worse.

I was there for one week, during the NYE season, and have been very pleased with it. First off, the features: - Yes, it does have free wifi. Other reviews may say that it doesn't, but at least when I was there, I was given a voucher for a certain amount of volume, and each time it runs out, you...

We arrived at this very central hotel late Friday afternoon 16th December. The hotel was full but I had booked about two months previous. We were shown to a very dingy and damp room ( out of which, I must add, we could see table mountain thru a very dirty window) I was very unhappy and complained to management. About...

We booked this hotel last minute after cancelling our trip to Durban and PE due to bad weather and extending our Cape Town holiday. I was definitely tempted by the last minute good price and I have to say i enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Location is pretty good, you are only 5 minute walk to Long Street which...

Never will I stay there! I made a booking for myself, my wife and small baby ( i told them that!). We drove a long distance and upon arrival I was told that my booking was never guaranteed and that they had to cancel it because suddenly they are fully booked. They never told me to make a payment or...

I booked just 1 night at a great price for peak period. I found the staff have improved there service tremendously from last time. Great to see. Stay was very pleasant. Right opposite the Bo-Kaap and with in Cape Town CBD. So everything 's short stroll away. Room was clean and lovely city views. All in all good location to...

There is a lot to like about this hotel. Our room (a superior) was fantastic with a balcony, small kitchen, great bed, funky design style plus large bath and shower. Breakfast was rather good - a buffet but the items changed each day so we did not get bored. The location is close to the centre and easy walking to...
