Exactly what I was expecting as far as what the website advertised. Staff is friendly and helpful, booking day tours and giving good advice on things to do in and around the city. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The pool was allright and so were the facilities. Four shared showers and three toilets for about 40 people on one floor is not great. We were in a room on the ground floor and at the front of the building, very noisy at night. Guests were quite on their...

Very good hostel with pool and garden located close to the city centre in Cape Town. A separate desk for travel booking was very good. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. ATM at the hostel that didn't charge any fee for withdrawals (as most other ATM's in South Africa do). Excellent with separate safes for each guest in every room....

Awesome hostel. Super friendly and sociable atmosphere. Very well set up for meeting lots of new people. Definitely made some friends for life here. Dorms are comfortable and clean, bar/communal area is very cool. Great location for getting in and out of city centre. Very safe.

- The dorms were not fully equiped (missing power outlets near the beds, for example) - Some showers didn´´'t work properly - Staff not always kind (though they found a lost watch and returned me) - For 2 days, there was a dead cockroach in our room (we had to beg for they to remove it)! But besides that, it...

Oh dear - I am so sorry that everything wasn't to your liking. Our building is a Victorian mansion and it is tricky with installing power outlets but we are in the midst of putting USB chargers at every single bed which should help a lot! I am horrified about the dead bug... that should have been removed immediately, so...

The dorms are comfortable and clean, the bathrooms are convenient and the communial area is great for spending time with others. The kitchen could be equipped a little better I think,...

Very very helpful staff. Lost my phone on the night before I left ZA and they helped me searching for it for hours until we finally found it with the help of security cams. Most amazing staff ever! :) Keep on being like this, I really appreciate this.
