I was visiting some friends in Table View and then moved to the Table Bay hotel as a visit to Cape Town isn't the same without staying there. The last time I visited in 2012 was with my late husband and the staff at the hotel were superb. They haven't changed. Nothing is too much bother. I left my kindle...

The table bay hotel did so much to give us a wonderful honeymoon stay. We couldn't have picked a better hotel. The location was perfect. We had wonderful views of the waterfront, were close to all of the restaurants, and the malls are nearby for those who love shopping. It's an easy walk to the Robben Island jetty and an...

I've been frequenting this establishment for the past 12 years, hosting various local and international guests as well as having business meetings in The Lounge. The experience has always been gracious and pleasant. Last night I ordered a cafe mocha aka chocochino. Firstly the waitress brought the wrong drink (machiato) then I explained to her what exactly I asked for...

We spent 3 days here after our QECruise, it is in a great position right at the end of the Waterside area, our room was very spacious and well appointed, with all you need, plus settee and chairs, we overlooked the quayside and the Table Mountain, and could even see the Ship. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the...

The room was great with a view of the V&A Waterfront, the town, and Table Top Mountain. Could not have been better, The breakfast was excellent especially in the larger breakfast room. The staff was polite...

Excellent room, stunning location, delightful facilities. Service is very good (it can slip a little but nothing serious; eggs Benedict with cheese sauce?). The breakfast buffet is the best I have encountered on four Continents and includes plenty of excellent oysters, unless the Japanese are in. The restaurant is good but the bar is a little drab. Shops etc are...

Hotel is adjacent to the waterfront area of cape town, teeming with life, shopping, restaurants and views over the harbour. Escalator from hotel lobby direct to main shopping mall. Room was a good size with adequate amenities, but no separate shower. All a bit dark and dated though. Good breakfast included, though additional charge for in room service (unlike neighbouring...

We have been coming to Cape Town and the hotel for 9 years at varied times of year and we always feel at home here. There is so much to see and do, or to relax and use the Spa and pool. We love the sea view as in the past some Whales have shown themselves as a view from...
