Great experience. Excellent Staff. Attention to detail. Loved the room and bathroom, very spacious and nice additional extras. We particularly enjoyed dinner (the Kingklip was cooked to perfection) and the High Tea was phenomenal!

If you are looking for a relaxing stay with excellent and personalized service, the traditional Mount Nelson is probably the best place to stay in Cape Town. We spent three decelerated nights as a family during the Corona crisis and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Our oldest friends have had a horrible year, so for Di's birthday we booked Cape Town's BEST experience. The Nellie is such an icon historically, always immaculate, wonderful food and amenities, and we were knocked out by the beautiful newly refurbished decor ( not that the previous was lacking!!). Service was excellent, always there, but not overbearing. We had the most fabulous time

We had a delightful stay, albeit for only one night at the famous Mount Nelson. We would highly recommend the hotel, and will certainly plan another, longer stay next time. Thank you to all of the staff for the special attention to detail. All-in-all, a very memorable stay!

Perfect We have stayed here many times before, and the quality of service and facilities remains exceptional. Contemporary/modern hotels have some good characteristics, but nothing matches a stay at an historic property like the Mount Nelson in Cape Town.
