Really loved staying at the Pepperclub in Cape Town. The most impressive part of the experience for me was the staff, without exception were outstanding. They were there to serve and it was delightful engaging with them. Otherwise, the location is great if you like being downtown. Easy walk to many nice restaurants, and small drinking places (kind of pubs)....

The rooms were run down and the maintenance of the rooms was poor- Room 306. The linen appeared tired, the TV remote was falling apart, the water in toilet cistern ran all night, the shower water ran down the toilet floor- it was slippery. Sleep was disturbed with noise from Long Street early hours though settled down. The hair dryer...

Despite the name this is far from a luxury hotel , it is basically a badly managed sub standard 4 star hotel .... a mixture between no hot water in the bathrooms , bad construction with the sound between the rooms and not worth the price. Unless you seek an oven in the center of your luxury room look elsewhere...

Completely over priced for the value given. Three breakfast omlets were charged at the same price as three full buffet breakfasts. There was no warning of this at the time of ordering. The food and beverage Mnger was as unsympathetic and the receptions staff when I discovered the R300.00 omlets on the bill!! Disgusting!!!

What a great hotel. The staff are so friendly and the rooms are great. They also offered a shuttle service to the waterfront which is really convenient. I will most certainly be back again. Thanks for a great experience

Visited for 4 nights as part of a tour. Had no probs with noise as on 9th floor though other guests were complaining about noise. Rooms were clean and well decorated. Facilities were good on site, excellent meal at Sinatra's, did not use the Spa but judging by the rest of the hotel it should be good. Great breakfast menu...

Could not get to sleep on any night of our visit. There needs to be a cautionary advising about the ridiculous noise levels from Long Street. Truly spoilt the whole experience. Also had an absurd mini bar system which delayed our departure by 30mins. Can't see ourselves going back.

The Pepper club is at a very nice location close to the High court and conference facilities. The food at Sinatra's is a bit expensive compared to other restaurants. In general it was a very enjoyable stay.

Centrally located close to Long Street, noise can be an issue from the late opening bars on certain nights. Staff were friendly and helpful and could not do enough for you. Philip on reception was particularly helpful in assisting us with a move to a quieter room. The cinema is a nice touch!

The rooms were a little noisy due to the location and room furnishings could have been better, however the breakfast food and service was incredible. Great fitness centre and pool too. Would recommend to travellers on business or travellers seeking a good nightlife scene.
