My then fiancée and now husband and I met in Cape Town and we had our first dinner together at Bombay Brassiere which was exceptional. Breakfast at the Mint was an Indian delight. The dosa's are sumptuous and my favourite Indian breakfast. Our suite was comfortable and a true treat. The Taj has to be our favourite hotel in Cape...

Wonderful hotel - amenities were great. In city - but close to all sites. Staff were all friendly and eager to help. Seemed genuinely happy to work there. Good selections for breakfast, high teas. Enjoyed delicious indian dinner at on-site hotel.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Cape Town within an exquisite old building. Rooms are most comfortable and the service were mostly excellent. Dinner at the Bombay Brasserie (specialties authentic Indian dishes) was excellent as always. Whenever in Cape Town, this is a place to visit. But do book in advance as it is quite popular. Breakfast the...

Beautiful room with gorgeous linen and wonderfully scented room. Pity we didn't get to eat in their famous Indian restaurant. Next time. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great location in the city! Highly recommended from what we experienced!

Bang in the centre of central Capetown. The company gardens are right across, Iziko slave lodge to the left and a piece of Berlin Wall to the right of the hotel. Most other places of attraction are within easy walking distance. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle to waterfront by the hour. All our travel and tour requirements were taken...

We just returned from a trip to the Mother city and initially made the collosal mistake of booking in a hotel other than the Taj (which is our favourite hotel in Cape Town). The initial hotel we booked into for 6 nights, was problematic from the start but escalated quickly with a serious security breach. We immediately phoned the Taj...

One of the finest hotels in Cape Town that we can't get enough of. Today is our last day at the Taj and it is with a heavy heart we bid farewell. As usual the service is excellent. Both are warm and welcoming and serve outstanding cuisine. Alongside this you'll find wonderful Champagne and tapas bar known as The Twankey Bar which is exceedingly popular with both locals and guests alike.
