We stayed 4 nights at Cape Paradise and cannot fault them - incredible guest house at a competitive price, no wonder they get booked up so much time in advance! The owners are very very nice and chilled - they happily give advice on places to visit and are always available for a chat. The common room is gorgeous with...

May 22-26, We stayed at an Apartment at Cape Paradise Lodge in the posh Gardens area, Cape Town. Lovely apartment with awesome views all round. Totally loved it! We had apt 4 in building 2. Parking is just in front. 7/11 is just a stone's throw away. There is a steep staircase to the apt from its lobby, the tub's stopper...

We stayed in the Buffalo self-catering flat, which has a fantastic view of the city bowl. The rooms were very clean and are simply but elegantly furnished. We both slept really well, the mattresses are great, and it's very quiet up this far on Kloof. The full open kitchen may not fit everybody's definition of luxury, but has everything you...

We love to return to this place! The hosts are very friendly and helpful who make you feel at home as soon as you enter the gate. A marvellous view by day and night over down town Cape Town and if you peak around the corner you see Lion's Head and a bit further Table Mountain. Plenty of choice of...

room with great view to the city - nice at day and at night. Warm welcome, comfortable room. As i had my own surfstick with me, the 'restrictions' to the internet access (when working) were negligable to me. Nevertheless, for international visitors i would prefer a better solution.

Rooms were lovely. We had views to the City and Table Mountain. Hosts are great without being intrusive and nothing too much trouble. Best breakfast that we had in SA and can't imagine a better place to stay when visiting Cape Town.

It's a beautiful hotel, nice people, but NO air con. This is in my opinion a big disadvantage for this hotel. I am not a person who really insist in it usually and sometimes not even use it, also in warm places. We had over 30 deg, and it was hardly possible to sleep. When you came home in the...

If location is your priority this place is great. Was in one of the apartments in September and the room was really comfortable with two rooms and a great view. The folks who run the place are really friendly and the honesty bar is a nice touch if you're in the apartments. This place has two mega negatives, the parking...
