It's a bit like going back in time I suppose, colonial Britain or the time of the Raj or at least perceptions of it because the care everybody goes to make sure you are looked after is unbelievable. It's not in a subservient way, just good manners and lots of attention to detail. Nothing seems to be too much trouble...

This property has absolutely no security. The location is great but the fact that anyone off the street can walk onto the property is absurd for such a crime ridden city. we stayed over the new year holiday for our honeymoon and had a valuable watch stolen from a bag. the hotel did absolutely NOTHING for us aside from running...

This guesthouse/hotel is perfectly located across the street from the waterfront, but as soon as you into it's sheltered garden you have the all the benefits of a secluded hideout. The staff was ultra-friendly and arranges everything that we needed. If you are looking for a B&B style hotel near the waterfront, I can highly recommend.

The start of my retirement holiday. Loved every second and only wish I had the energy to fully enjoy the vibrant and happy atmosphere of the V & A Cape Town. This Hotel was my convenient and comfortable sanctuary when I could not. Full marks on comfort and helpful staff. Michelle and her happy and helpful team could not have...

Dear Michelle, I can not thank you enough for your assistance in the run up to my son's wedding. All your staff were extremely helpful attending to our every need. However the highlight for our visit was the dinner in the grounds of the Dock House where you foresaw the weakness in the staffing of our caterer and jumped to...

Situated by the V & A waterfront enjoy the pleasures of Cape Town whilst feeling like you are in your own private garden ( with a pool and bar of causes). The room was outstanding and perfectly decorated. each of the 6 rooms are uniquely decorated! The hotel is closely located to the marina (across the street), and has a pool for...

This little hotel was terrific. From the size of the room to the service, we had no complaints. We stayed in Rm #1 to the left of the entrance. Beautiful room with it's own lounge and a bathroom as big as most hotel rooms we've stayed in! Our room also had a private patio with a small garden and fountains....

I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights. All the staff particularly Michelle were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were stunning and attention to detail was superb. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Nice boutique hotel, unique and unusual finding. Former Victorian family house still keeping all its flavour. The staff and Michelle the GM make every effort to make you feel at home, and they succeed indeed. Perfect location 1min away from the waterfront action. Great breakfast, fantastic room and kind, efficient service. What else can you ask for?
