We had an amazing experience at this guesthouse. The room was huge and nicely decorated. The service was excellent. The location is great. Negatives: the lounge furniture needs to be updated. The air con is louder than you'd expect.

We felt that a lot of time and effort has gone in to the upkeep of the property. We also felt that the service was of a high standard. Good location and good value for money. Being a Guest House you got that special treatment

We spent 4 days there. On the next visit to Capetown we will stay at the Kingslyn Guest House again. The location is very good. You can walk in 10-15 minutes to the waterfront or to the city. The service is very good and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Kingslyn make yourself fell at home...The accommodation is handled by the owners, that pays attention for every single detail.. Charming accommodation, walking distance from Waterfront and restaurants. The guesthouse arranges transportation and tours for the main attraction in town . It has been written here before time and again, Rachel makes you really feel like home. No sign of a cold, impersonal hotel feeling, but genuine hospitality. Convenient parking next to the building, good Wi-Fi, excellent bed, roomy bath room, lovely front garden, what more could you wish for? Just, just maybe a fridge that is slightly less noisy!

“The Kingslyn has about 6 rooms. We had room 6 (the largest suite). Apart from the occasional creaking from next room's floorboards, the place was quiet. Rooms have aircon and ceiling fan. The property is on a corner and pretty sheltered so cannot see it getting too warm. All rooms are well furnished with good beds and amenities. Cannot say any more than that, except to say with the Rand at about 17 to the £, it is exceptional value.”
