I went to Thaba Phuti where a friend of mine was getting married. As a wedding venue for a small wedding it was really very good - beautiful setting, great service from the staff, decent food, great party. The lodge itself is stunning with gorgeous views across classic Rustenburg cliffs and valleys, and a very pretty small swimming pool. The...

Stayed on the farm stay in the reserve as we were advised the main hotel was not suitable for children. At no time however prior to booking were we told that the children would not be allowed on game drives or even to have a meal at the hotel. Advised the farmhouse was fully furnished - no microwave or TV...

We stayed for just one night in June. The lodge is perhaps a little bit out of the way, but you would realise that when you book. Other than that I don't have any criticism. Nice place, nice rooms, nice surroundings, nice food. If you are in the area I would recommend it.

Arrived in the darkness of early evening.... don't be fooled by the rought track road to the gates or the warning sign about dangerous animals, it's leading you to a little spot of peace and quiet in a sublime location. Staff are spot-on, speak good english and are willing to help with anything you need. Traditional bush lodge, beautifully illuminated...
