The service was amazing...Robert is wonderful and a true gem. Rooms were of terrible quality....loose taps. paint from floor was coming off and stained everything. Kettle broken. Very old rug and chairs.chipped cupboards and certainly not 5* or worth R5000 a night. The rhino reserve itself is badly managed and over grazed....not what we hoped to see as conservationists after...

Very comfortable accomodation. Very welcoming hosts and an incredibly knowledgeable ranger: Riaan. Morning and evening game drives were a treat. Bush walk was fantastic. Great food! Wonderful animal sightings and experiences. A trip to remember!

What an absolutely awesome stay. The friendly staff, the rooms and service...everything was just great. Our guide Robert's knowledge about all fauna and flora was quite astounding...from bugs to birds to trees to giraffes. We've been going to the bush all our lives and still learnt new and interesting things from him. Also the fact that we saw the big...

Wow! what a fabulous place to stay. Great location in a private game reserve with access to Pilanesberg National Park. The highlight was without doubt the early morning game drives. Was worth getting up at 4am for! We had the best guide as well, Humba, who was very knowledgeable and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We saw everything...

We had a nice stay. The staff were very gracious and the accommodations quite comfortable. We had two boys, 9 and 12, and it worked really well for them. The guide went out of his way to show us wild dogs. We took a bush walk, which was the highlight of the trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Morokolo! The game sightings were excellent - the driver/ranger, Jacque, was great. He was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. The food was good but there was not a wide choice. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very spacious - but don't expect 5-star.

We had the most wonderful time at Morokolo and can not wait to return. From the moment we got out of our car (got arrival drinks and warm cloths) until we left we were treated like special guests. We were lucky enough to have the resort to ourselves for the first night but also enjoyed the company of the other...

The staff were very friendly and Jacqui was great and answered all my questions before arrival. Riann was a fantastic guide with a great sense of humour but more importantly extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and the park in general. My only advice is with regards to the park and not the lodge. Within the park itself there...

Thank you for your kind words, we enjoyed your visit too! The park is very busy on weekends but at least we also have a private section where no private cars are allowed to drive so sightings are not over-crowded. During the week is quieter and there are less private as well as lodge vehicles.

This small lodge is situated in an open forest with soothing views of tree clad hills. The Black Rhino reserve contains numerous small lodges like this, that are within a short drive from a shared restaurant complex. Morokolo has four excellent units that each sleeps 2-3 people, so it is an intimate lodge with a private feeling. The game drives...
