During our recent holiday in South Africa we stayed at Cape Vidal in a log cabin. We have been going to Cape Vidal every year since 2001 and it has always been our favourite destination, but have been left extremely disappointed with our experience the last two years. We were booked in for 7 nights arriving on the 19th of...

Situated in an National Park, quiet and secluded.. An amazing beach, great snorkeling, especially for kids as its shallow and easily accessible. Toilet and shower facilities are not so great but the beach makes up for that.. A must go to place

Unbelievably beautiful stretch of beach with the most awesome under water sea life. The snorkeling is fantastic. The toilets and changing facilities need some work . The drive through the park is excellent , we were lucky to spot a tortoise walking across the road. A beautiful family outing .

Reminds me of my visit to ileAux Cerfs. Excellent reef excellent scuba diving. Brilliant coral reefs. You will be amazed that we have a world class natural venue in our own backyard. Also happens to be a protected World heritage sight. Definitely worth a visit.

Cape vidal is still one of the most beatiful parks.. The beach is to die for... The park has upgraded the roads by tarring everything out, if you have visited in the past you wiyld know that the roads werent tarred.. currently there are more upgrades happening as well. If you do visit the park please be aware of the...

We booked out Chalet No. 2 from 18th Feb to 22 Feb. Disappointing to say the least is an understatement.... Where do I begin:- Chalets are filthy and infested with cockroaches and rats. Monkeys are a nuisance however one could overlook this as we are in their domain. With that being said though there are no screens over the windows...

Wonderful camping spot, it doesn't matter where you are (some allotments have electricity, others don't), there will always be all sorts of monkeys around you (including the endangered and very cheeky Samango) so watch your stuff! Apart from that we had a variety of little bucks around our tent, some so tame that you could almost touch them (no feeding...

We spent a weekend at Cape Vidal, with the intention of snorkeling and exploring the wildlife area. It was our first visit and was looking forward to a relaxing weekend with friends. Our first impression was good. Most stands were taken and it was quite difficult to park the caravan on the small sandy stand. We were warned about the...

My family and I stayed at Cape Vidal from 27-31 January 2016. Weather was great and scenery beautiful. Cabins old, dirty and not value for money at all. Water not fit for human consumption. Monkeys are a terrible pest, they will even try and open the front door. They literally stole (grabbed) food out of our hands! In town, the...
