First-- if making it a day trip, bring food! They will not let you out of the park with out paying again to come back in, and their is nothing in the park. Also, monkeys will steal your food. It was a great time and beautiful. The water was warm in February. There was tons of seaweed though, so every...

This is the second time we have been to Vidal in as many years. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on both occasions. It does help to go in a large group and we have been fortunate to have ski boat fishermen and divers with us. Helps to have fresh seafood on the dinner table! The cabins have got a little...

Cape Vidal is certainly a very special place. Expansive beaches in an exclusive wildlife area is an added attraction. The staff were very helpful and offered us a discount to stay in one of the chalets. Unfortunately work and maintenance is needed as some of the older units are looking quite neglected. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were entertained...

Vidal natural beauty makes up for all manner of sins. The monkeys are a continual pain and need controlling. While we are used to them and take measures to prevent them from being a problem, many families got terrorized by them. The facilities are functional but badly maintained. This is a spectacular place but more care from the authorities of...

The water is like bath water temperature, at low tide you can snorkel along the rocks and see lot of fish and coral. The water is so calm I could snorkel holding my 3 year old. You can literally stand with water at waist height and see fish. There are rock pools to explore so take your aqua shoes. There...

Our first time visit at Cape Vidal. Went in early and arrived at the parking area at around 07:30. As the day progressed more people arrived. Pity we didn't have snorkeling gear cause the water was calm and clear and we arrived at low tide. The water temperature is great and overall it was a fun experience. Bring own food...

This was our first time visit. I was told to go early at 6h but somehow we were delayed and only arrived at the gate around 8h. We didn't wait long around 30 minutes. It is 30km to actual Cape Vidal parking and speed limit is 50, so it can take you a while to get there. Also on a...

This is one of the most beautiful places to be at as a day visitor we were 5 min late at the gate for exiting and had to pay R500!!!... If it was 30 min or more I would understand. As we explained to "Linda" we had car problems she said that if we have the car registration of the...

We went back to stay in st lucia for five nights in December. This is one of our favourite vacation spots because we're avid Cape Vidal lovers. We absolutely love the privacy, safety and location of this special place. When we were there last time the units were being renovated and we were looking forward to staying in a renovated...
