It was worth the drive. This place qualifies as our hiding place when we want to recharge from the busy city life. We were therewith my partner for 5 days and it was worth every moment from checking in to checking out. They even have a fire man for making a fireplace when you need it. Service is supper excellent...

Absolute bliss. Hotel is nestled in a rainforest. Service is brilliant from well trained and friendly staff. Very central to many sites so you are not bored. On site there is lots to do from relaxing in your unit to fishing, walking trails or relaxing by the pool after a spa treatment.

We stayed in the chalets in Mt Sheba. The shalet was equipped with everything we needed and more. We were on the edge of the bush. Hiking at Mt Sheba is absolutely fantastic with lots of different bird species. Cleaning and overall service of the chalets is very good. Unfortunately the service at the restaurant at the pool area was...

We stayed in a cottage for a week in October 2016. We enjoyed the time at Mount Sheba immensely. This place is definitely an undiscovered gem in SA. The whole lodge is situated in a rain forest. Two days we had mist rolling in, amazing. We did a lot of the walking trails in the forest. A few of the...

As part of a tour of South Africa I was fortunate enough to stay one night at Mount Sheba. After the noise of Johannesburg the natural setting of this lodge was a welcome change. Our group received a warm welcome. The only sounds that could be heard were birds. My bed was turned down and a chocolate placed on the...

My wife and I sent the past weekend at Mount Sheba - I just love this place. The staff are wonderful and go out of there way to help and please, and the food is good. The rooms are tops and the fireplace with the fire going just gives you that romantic feeling.

10Kms on a dirt road in good condition and beautiful views. The Hotel itself if quite old but has been revamped and the rooms and bathrooms are beautifully finished.
