Pulled in without advance booking and very glad we did. Mark & Beryl were very welcoming, the accommodation is very good with extremely comfortable beds, perfect for resting up prior to entering Kruger N.P. the next day. An added bonus was the lovely extensive gardens rich in bird life, just right for us keen birders.

Lovely and charming. Quiet rooms and friendly host. Who could ask for more? The long drive up from the main gate sets the tone for a peaceful break from hectic schedule of meetings and more meetings. Will definately stop again

Faboulous scenery, very neat cottages, and communal kitchen is well equiped. Easy accessible as it is just next to the N4. The garden with exotic plants gave us much pleasure to view. The owners are very welcoming & friendly. Highly recommended place to stay!

We stayed at Crocodile Nest in August 2015 and it was a gem of a place, with fantastic owners and staff. We landed up stranded late in the afternoon, as our original destination had closed, with no forewarning! A friend recommended Beryl and Mark and they were more than happy accommodate my brothers and my family, a party of 9,...

We stayed here for a one night stop between Kruger and the Drakensburg. The accommodation was clean and fully equipped for self-catering. It is very accessible and also very secure being fully gated and out of the main town. The owners went out of their way to help us with our onward travel plans and sent us out on to...

Wow. First thing first the pictures do not do this beautiful venue justice. It is so beautiful and has everything you need. Mark was extremely accomodating due to the fact that it was so late. Thank you kindly for your hospitality. We will defiantly make this a regular stop over when we pass through from Mozambique. What a beautiful stay....

After having booked for 2 nights else where (we won't mention names), only to find out the day before our reservation "had been lost". The lodge that messed up our reservation kindly recommended Crocodile Nest as an alternative. Beryl and Mark managed to fit us in. Situated on a beautiful citrus farm where we were able to enjoy leisurely walks...

This is our 3rd visit and as always, received a very friendly welcome! Rooms well kitted out and clean. All staff very friendly and make you feel at home. Just far enough from town to make you forget about the chaos of city life.
