It was an amazing time that we will never forget. The Roos family are amazing, beautiful people with lovely hearts. The accomodations are great, the cost is cheap and the location is ideal. It´s in the city, but at the same time secluded in it little corner, with its backyard into a dry river bank that is filled with bird... More

Either side of a great trip to Kruger, we stayed one night with Paul, Natalie and the kids. We found the hostel to be everything we needed - quiet, homely and close to all amenities. Paul took us to Kruger for a 3-day tour and tailored it exactly how we wanted it. We have done many trips with many guides,... More

Paul and Natalie are kind and very welcoming. Theirs isn't a traditional backpackers because you are staying in the house they live in, so it is more like a guest house. This gives it a very homely feeling and it is refreshingly different to the usual style of backpackers. We stayed in a room outside the main house which was... More

We stayed here multiple times over the course of two years when we lived in Mozambique and from the beginning we felt completely at home. The location is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood with a small shopping centre (supermarket, different restaurants, etc) within walking distance (also safe to walk there in the evening). There are cooking facilities and a... More

Stayed a day here. The owners are really good and helpful. Room and facilities are good enough. I was just unlucky to be in the same dorm with a guy who snores too loudly. They might recommend u a taxi to go to the bus station to take bus. The distance is actually just about 2km. If you wanna save... More

Natalie and Paul are great hosts they do have 2 dogs but they are the friendliest dogs... More

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for 1 night on our visit to Nelspruit last month but Nelspruit Backpackers was a fantastic place to stay for that one night. The location is perfect for all the local amenities and Natalie was a fantastic, charming host who readily welcomed us and was so attentive to our needs. I would recommend... More

I can't recommend this Backpackers highly enough. We have traveled across South Africa, staying at a variety of hostels and accommodations, and our experience with Paul and his family at the Nelspruit Backpackers was one of the most memorable. The value for the accommodation is spot-on, and the willingness of the hosts to adapt to our requests provided excellent customer... More

We stayed at Nelspruit Backpackers with our toddler and were warmly welcomed by the friendly owners who run this small and cozy place. We felt like home immediately and appreciated the big and very well equipped kitchen as well as the beautifully arranged garden! Even though the backpackers is perfectly located for Nelspruit's somehow difficult city planning - very close... More

Small backpackers with very friendly hosts in a nice and quiet area in the center of Nelspruit. Lovely outside area makes it a great place to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Shopping center is around the corner.
