Love jock Safari lodge. It os a beautiful place. We came for honeymoon. We felt as in home. Our ranger Patrick was the best, we saw the big five and lions atacking a bufalo. It was incredible. Naomi,AB and all the staff were magnifecent, we...More
This was my first trip to Kruger National Park (KNP) with my girlfriend or any safari for that matter, and Jock did not disappoint. Located within the heart of the southern end of KNP, Jock is a fairly intimate lodge with 12 luxury cabanas accommodating...More
This tiny, 3 suite hotel is great for honeymooners. The service was fabulous, and we were so lucky to get a great guide, Patrick. He took us across a dry river, up a bank and right up to a resting male lion. I was frightened,...More
The friendly staff escorted us to our bungalow. There is a high fence with a key to enter into your own private garden area which includes a decking with garden furniture and a plunge pool (it was too cold for us at this time of...More

Skukuza for sure since runway extended and scheduled flights go there from all over. Jock will send a cruiser to pick you up and your safari experience begins as soon as you leave the airport. Time back to the lodge can vary depending on sightings but generally about an hour. We have visited the Jock each year since 2012 and can hand on heart say, it is a magical place. We are due to visit again this year for a longer stint as usually do 5-7 days but want more and will be celebrating a special wedding anniversary there too! You will love it
When we entered the gate at the Kruger National park the entry fee was R82.00 per person. You need to specify that you are booked at Jock, or they will charge you more - I think. it's only once that you pay and then you stay... More
When we entered the gate at the Kruger National park the entry fee was R82.00 per person. You need to specify that you are booked at Jock, or they will charge you more - I think. it's only once that you pay and then you stay inside the park until departure so we did not pay a daily fee. I unfortunately don't know about the best bag to travel. We had hard cases and it was fine for the internal flights

Currency is difficult for me to say, the lodge included everything in our stay except drinks and the spa
