After staying at Tremisana we moved to Mark's treehouse for a "tented experience". I didn't mind the accommodation as much as my friend did, who is a bit more high maintenance, but our "tent", was actually a "hut". We hardly had room for our baggage and there was lots of cracks in the room where bugs got in. Thank god...

It was pretty cold at night when I visited in August, 2016 and the rooms are not heated and the shower water temp was not very hot. The bed was comfortable, the food was quite good and the guides were fantastic. If traveling on a budget, you can't go wrong with this place. I really enjoyed my stay and the...

I spent 3 nights at the treehouse. After a short insecure moment of "wow this is really a treehouse", I really enjoyed my stay! One has to know it's in the middle of nature so various insects around the lodge, baboons, kudus, etc. are part of the whole experience but if you keep your door shut, all is good :)...

A very nice place to stay which is also situated inside a game reserve. At night you could hear the lions roar, and in the morning you could see the buffalos drinking water. We heard rumors about a leopard that visited camp the morning before we arrived, but we didnt see it ourselves. The rooms are clean, but its a...

I really enjoyed my 6 night safari here! Victor was an amazing host and made me feel welcome! I slept in Treehouse 5, the tallest at the lodge and it was perfect. The private bathroom was located on the ground but I didn't find it to be a problem at all. The fan works beautifully and I slept very well,...

Wow... This place gives you both adrenaline and lots of joy. We will NEVER forget when the leopard where killing an animal just by the river (<50 m from THE house) and screaming/calling just outside our house (<1 m). We could not take a breath until it was gone. When we were leaving we took a bush walk outside the...

Hi Joakim Wow ....you were exceptionally fortunate in seeing and hearing a Leopard make a kill right close by your treehouse !!!! No wonder you could not breathe properly!! You were indeed " Close to Nature' . We are thrilled with your summary - good to know the guides were informative and professional; Victor's information; Harrison's "killer" tracking skills; beautiful...

My wife and I did a 5-night safari package with Viva, which includes the standard 1 night at Tremisana and then the remainder of the nights at Marc's. We were in Tree House #2, which is a real Robinson Crusoe- style house built up on stilts around the tree. Highly, highly recommended. The camp management is warm and all you...

We were traveling on a budget and they were able to accommodate. We saw the animals but also learned about them. The staff at Marc's and the guides with Viva were so helpful and patient with our kids. An experience you will cherish for sure!

The tree house was an adventure for me keeping in mind the rustic Charme of the facilities. The staff is very friendly and it felt like camping to me. You'll hear animal scream at night and have cheeky monkeys in the morning trying to steel your breakfast. It was nice 👍🏻. Food nice. Staff friendly. Accommodation clean.
