For the price and its location, it was a great experience. Chalets are cozy and comfortable. Special place for those who are looking for a place to rest, read a good book, enjoy walks and also see the animals which room the property.

Maduma Boma is a wonderful place to stay! Barry, Sue and all the staff were so nice and helpful. The location is great, very close to Kruger Park and in between 2 other gates. The chalets are situated so that you aren't close to any other which makes it very private. The wildlife is fantastic and some come right up...

We enjoyed ou stay very much at Maduma Boma, The chalet was very comfortable and the staff friendly. We would like to visit again when the veld it lush and green as it was very dry due to the drought. The hike on the property was also most enjoyable to do.

Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday. The drought is now over as we have been blessed with plenty of rain in the last two months. Our dams are all full and the bush has had a total transformation - so lovely and green.

Our family of 5 stayed for only 2 nights in the Nyala cottage at Maduma. Next time we will stay longer. The service from Barry and Sue and their staff was excellent; the private splash pool a great joy; the chalet was clean and neat and the kitchen was well equipped. No TV - keep it that way please! My experience from the 30/12/2016 to 03/01/2017 at Maduma Boma was excellent, went there with friends and we were 10 in total. We stayed at Impala and Dik-Dik chalets which were fully serviced regularly and the staff there is very friendly and helpful. We wanted to see more game at the venue especially the leopard as they said it was...

Maduma Boma was wonderful and relaxing. The chalet was great but we needed air-conditioning in our Dik Dik chalet. We really enjoyed the swimming pool especially during the hot Dec month. We were fortunate to have a leopard and her cub 20 metres from our chalet and also to find an impala she had killed. We followed here spoor for...

Thank you for your great review. Yes you were very lucky to see the leopard and her cub as well. She is very shy and we usually seldom see her. This Summer has been extremely hot but fortunately all our chalets now have fans in. Only Eland and Hakuna Matata have air conditioners in. Perhaps next time you may want...

We have been been fortunate enough to stay in different chalets at this very special establishment 5 times over the past 12 years. It affords a very unique experience, not only because the chalets are literally in the bush and game and birds make up part of your daily environment, but because the chalets are utterly private and secluded, and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Maduma Boma is a private game farm situated in the Greater Kruger National park about 25 min from Orpen Gate of the Kruger Park which makes it great for day visits to the park. We are close to some wonderful attractions. We have 10 chalets priced from as little as R1000 per night. EACH chalet has its own swimming pool and boma. Each Chalet is fully serviced daily and is privately situated on a separate part of the farm. We have animals walking around freely (not the Big5, they are next door and you can go on a game drive there) and abundant bird life. This is the perfect place to relax and position yourself to enjoy the African Bush and what it has to offer. ... more   less
