For a big hotel with 350 rooms and only 4 lifts of which only one is serviceable, this sucks!! Going down to breakfast this morning took about 30 minutes on both up and down trips. The furniture in the rooms are worn. There is no USB plug or adapter for your stuff......I thought these days this is a given! The...

Dear Klappernous I am delighted to inform you that we are in the final planning phase of our room refresh program which should commence early 2017. I am so sorry that you had to experience a few problems during your stay. The 4 elevators we have, are adequate for the 177 rooms we offer, and unfortunately due to technical problems...

The check in process took 30 minutes because there was only person doing check ins , whilst the other staff just stood there and did nothing. The room was fine, and comfortable but there was a strong smell from the lake. I will not be returning

Dear Suren P I am sorry to hear that we did not fully meet your expectations during your last stay. I stay at this hotel regularly on business trips. Visited the hotel in September 2016. Always very welcoming and you are welcomed by name. The only grip I have is the selection of food that does not cater for all religious groups, not too sensitive to all peoples needs. further more very convenient, clean and what my highlight is to...

The hotel was very comfortable. But what was exceptional was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They made the stay so enjoyable. As for the food, it was simply amazing. It turned out that the chef was only 24 years old and actually celebrated his birthday when my wife and I were there. The food he produced would have...

This hotel is fairly standard with nothing special. It offers all the services and amenities as expected from a Protea hotel, but the layout is pretty weird and it's got no character whatsoever. I guess it's good for business, not a family or couples getaway.

Booked online through Hotels .com. "Special price" advertised actually the same as the walk in rate. The check in service however was excellent and the room welcoming after a long busy day .Nougat sweets and biscuits beconing to be eaten with my bedtime tea was a guilty pleasure. Well worth a second visit.
