Beds Ok. Bathroom Ok... missing tables to put your stuff on. Tv.. don't bother putting it on. Breakfast, I would not serve that breakfast to my dog. 1/4 egg (yes, not a full egg) half scrambled half fried and smeared on the plate to cover as much surface area as possible about 1/2 mm thick. Stayed at Petes retreat for few days. It was a homely feeling.Both Pete and his wife are quite friendly and helpful.Nice place for staying of Indians as place is customized to fulfill our needs.Breakfast over there is quite similar to what we are used to. I still miss the parathas at Pete's Retreat. Overall It was like a HOME AWAY...

Stayed over at Pete's place for a few days recently during a visit to SA. Great place, very neat and clean, and Pete a very good host! Ideal to stay over for a day or two and is very central if you need to do business in Centurion or Pretoria.

As I was to be on my own for the first few days of my trip to South Africa I was seeking a place of safety until my partner arrived. Two weeks before I travelled I had been told that my original booking had fallen through (having been booked 10 months earlier!) but Pete's Retreat was recommended as an alternative....
